The ADS NAS Drive Kit enables you to choose the Hard Drive size that meets your requirements. You install your hard drive, connect to your network and you instantly have a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device. Supports 3.5” Ultra ATA HDD (not included), all drive capacities.
Adding the NAS Drive Kit to an Ethernet-based office or home or network allows users to share files you download from the internet, music, photos or video. Gain "always-on" access to data, regardless of whether or not other computers on the network are active. Easily add additional external storage to the network. No need to open the PC.
The NAS Drive Kit provides very simple installation and setup with no need for user configuration or knowledge of IP addresses. An auto-discovery feature automatically adds the NAS Drive Kit device to all attached clients upon connection to the network. One (1) year warranty.
Includes: NAS Drive Kit enclosure (HDD not included), Power Adapter (12V/3A), Drive mounting screw pack, 6 Ft. Ethernet cable, User Guide, Installation CD and manual.

Note: The NAS-806-EF Drive Kit will work in a network that has either Windows PCs or a Mac. The first time you use the NAS Drive Kit, it must be configured. ADS provides an application to configure the NAS Drive Kit that runs on Windows OS. Once the NAS Drive Kit is configured, it will be accessible to all PC’s or Mac’s in the network. If you don’t have a Windows PC available in your network (only Mac’s), it will not be possible to configure the NAS Drive Kit device.
