The Targus Blue Trace Wireless Mouse features the latest Blue Trace technology for accurate and precise tracking. Blue Trace technology combines the power of optical technology with the precision of laser technology for remarkable tracking on almost any surface including wood, granite, and carpet. The ergonomic design reduces wrist strain for comfort and the mouse is ambidextrous for both left and right handed users. Wireless capability eliminates clutter from the workspace while RF 2.4GHz technology significantly reduces cordless interference and signal drops allowing the mouse to work up to 33 feet away. The mouse comes equipped with two high-quality Energizer batteries and is designed to provide up to 12 months of battery life depending on usage. The low power indicator light lets you know when a new set of batteries are needed. Featuring a sleek, comfortable design, the Targus Wireless Blue Trace mouse provides wireless convenience and the Micro USB receiver stores underneath the mouse so it's never lost and always ready for travel. The USB Receiver is also small enough to stay plugged into your computer at all times.

Targus Wireless Optical Mouse is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken Mouse the mouse came broken. Couldnt easily find a number to call to get it replaced. too inexpensive to spend too much time on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is the mouse I keep in my laptop bag for travel. I like the fact that the mouse automatically turns on and off depending on whether the USB dongle is attached to the bottom (via magnet) or not. It is fairly comfortable but a little too small in my normal sized hand. It is always quick to connect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from short battery life it's pretty basic for a mouse so it's not that amazing. even less amazing is how badly it sucks up power so you need to remember to turn it off when you're not using it. not exactly convenient if you ask me. if i could do it over again i would've bought a different brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fairly well done This Mouse is amazing for it being just a simple mouse, i have literally used this on a glass surface (unthinkable with red laser mice) fairly reliable response to it and insane battery life compared to some other mice i use.I am a gamer, video editor, and graphic designer all in one so i need a mouse that has pretty much all of what is given, a simple light mouse that moves where i tell it to with little to no fuss. This mouse will last you for quite some time if you treat it well, though as it seems it's not a durable mouse, some people seem to have them quit on them suddenly when they are used when on the go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm very pleased with this device I bought this mouse over a year ago for the features and price.I have only had one software problem with the driver in Win 7 64 bit. The hardware is solid. The battery life is very good, I seldom turn it off and the batteries last more than a month with very heavy use. This mouse is great for a casual gamer like myself, the response is very good and it's very easy to change batteries, I'd love to see more products from the engineer/s that designed this mouse with creative expression. This is one of the best designs I've seen in a long time.I would however like for Targus to engineer a standalone control panel for their products on Windows 7 because when putting the computer to sleep with the mouse left on would cause the need for a hardboot on my computer.I now turn the mouse off before If put my computer to sleep although because of the problem I put the computer to sleep less often because I don't want to hardboot. One suggestion ,design a simple plastic case with a belt clip to protect from scratches. With a case that has a belt clip included for the same price my rating would be a perfect 5/5.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from mixed I liked the mouse -- wile it lasted! After about a year of good operation, it failed during a boot, lousing up my computer. I can no longer operate ANY optical wireless mose on that machine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't use it to play games It is just too hard to press the mouse key. That cost my fingers and muscle ache. Otherwise, it is an okay mouse.
