No wake/sleep
This is a very sturdy, well built case. The swivel feature is very convenient and the color is beautiful. However, one of the main features I was looking for was the wake/sleep and have been told that the website was wrong and that is not an included feature. Be aware if that very basic feature is important to you.

I have used Targus covers in the past and love them but ... this one is unacceptable because of the fact it has no sleep wake function. That is so basic to tablet covers that I cannot believe Targus left that out. I will be buying a different case for sure that's not a target

Happy with the item. The overall quality is good. The leather looks durable and is not super prone to scratches. Fit is good and is very easy to put it and take out if needed. The designs could have been better and so does the stitch of the item. Looks ok for the price.

This case is ok but not any better than others just like it. I have a Targus case on iPad mini 2 and it is a 5 star case as it is much thicker and the closure wraps around making a great secure system so that the cover does not get knocked open accidentally and wakes up the tablet. That is a big issue with this new one. Not impressed.

This case looks fine. It is easy to put on and take off of the iPad, which is nice. My daughter informs me that the "holder for the Apple pen is really nice to have and useful". It's been a good improvement from the older case.

Nice, Basic Case
I find that this case for my iPad is nice, although it’s nothing super special or out of the ordinary. It’s basic but basic can be really nice and this fits that definition perfectly. I normally want something with a few more bells and whistles or something that’s customized but this is great for what it is. You’re getting exactly what you are and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. I actually like this case, a lot and if you’re looking for something simple you will too. Really nicely made and seems very durable.

iPad Min 6th Generation Rotating Case
This case is exactly what I needed for my Apple iPad mini 6th generation. It also has a slot to hold the Apple Pencil securely. The rotating case allows the iPad to be held in the portrait mode as well as the landscape mode without any slipping. It does provide ample protection for my iPad as well as the pencil. When lifting the cover of the case the iPad automatically wakes up which is a nice feature. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I think the magnet that holds the cover closed is weaker than I would have liked. The cover is easily opened without applying much force at all. That’s not to say that it doesn’t stay closed but I feel the magnet could have been a little stronger.

Bought this case as I wanted something that would protect my iPad mini and this seems to fit the bill. Love the rotating feature so I can view it in either portrait or landscape mode. Offers good protection if it drops and there’s a nice slot for a digital pencil. The material feels pretty good and the case is easy to open and close. You can enable the iPad mini to auto-sleep in the Lock/Unlock settings and save yourself some money over Apple cases.

I recieved this iPad mini case for free for my honest opinion and I feel much better knowing my pretty expensive toy is protected. I'm always dropping my iPad and I haven't had a single issue with it breaking with this case. I love that it's a built in stand also for watching videos. It makes it easier so my little ones aren't fighting over hogging screen.

The VERSAVU ANTIMICROBIAL CASE FOR IPAD MINI is a fantastic case for my iPad mini. I love the sleek design and the versatility that I have when using it. I really like the protection that I have with the shock absorption and scratch resistance it has, but I really like the antimicrobial effect to help prevent any germs from wanting to make my ipad their home. It makes me feel cleaner and less worry having this type design. I'm excited to see how it helps prolong my case as well. I have had 3 iPad covers, this one is supposed to fit a generation 7, 8, or 9. It is too big all around. It has the exact same numbers as my previous ones, but is not the same size. I am trying carpet tape to keep it in. One other time I tried sending one back and had a nightmare time. Don’t buy that one.

Quality Protective Cover for iPad
It’s not easy finding the right cover for an iPad. Lots of junk out there. But this one checks all the boxes. Good looking, magnetic cover, snaps shut, and feels sturdy with enough heft to it. Adjustable viewing stands, handles all of the typical needs. This design does make a few buttons a little hard to get to, but again, very protective. A good purchase that is well made and performs as needed.

I had a Targus case for my iPad mini v5 and it was great. When I ordered for my new Mini I was informed there may be a substantial delay so I ordered and 0tt3r Box. When it arrived I was majorly disappointed so I retuned it and waited for the Targus oder to arrive. It was everything the other brand wasn't and more! Won't ever buy anything other than Targus!

Hoping for a repeat
I purchased the VersaVue Case based on a previous case for the previous iPad version. The old eight-year-old case is a bit worn but serviceable. Like the old case, the new one has a perforated back which both lightens and allows for better cooling. something I have not seen in other cases. Only time will tell if it deserves a five-star rating.

The Targus case that was made for the iPad mini 4 had a flap that held the iPad and case shut more securely. I much preferred that to the Targus case that fits the iPad mini A17 pro. I also prefer a case that completely covers the iPad but the current case has an opening to show the Apple logo.

This is a good product, but different than my previous Targus mini iPad cover - which I dearly loved. I did not realize it was not the same when I ordered it. It is heavier than I expected - especially with the iPad in it - and therefore a little more cumbersome when I travel. Probably should have looked a little closer at the description before I ordered.

My wife had been given an iPad Mini several years ago. She uses it to play games. The cover that it had at that time had gotten complete worn out and was now in two pieces. I ordered this cover and it is great. She doesn't have to stand it up, but just holds it in her hands. From what I can see so far, it is working as expected.

I really like this compared to all i have seen out there. I like the fact that the opening is there so you can view the apple. I bought one from you for another tablet a few years ago and looked around for one for my new tablet which lead me to your site. I like the magnetic clasp, my previous one had a band that expanded which is also good. I like the fact that it can get wet if you accidentally spill something including the fact that you can disinfect it without ruining it if you end up taking it out in public places. I like the color though I like my previous color better which was red but you no longer have red. I just like the loud color and it is the color of an eatable apple, lol.

I’ve had a Targus case for my IPad Air for years and love it. My old one was magnetic and never fell down so the jury is still out on this one. We had a Targus without magnets for a IPad mini and it fell down continuously.

I bought this item on 5/26/2025 and received it on 5/29/2025.. I purchased this item because I previously purchased one for my 12.9” iPad and was very happy with it. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this item. The ridges that hold the iPad in place are not high enough and the iPad keeps slipping out of it and falls flat. I am also disappointed that this case does not have a flap to hold it closed.

Just got it today and Targus does it again! I’ve been using these cases since the OG iPad and nothing compares. I did read a review on this specific case that stated the screen does not wake/sleep when open/close, that person may want to get that iPad Pro 13” M4 checked. Mine works great, wakes/sleeps just fine when open/close.

I just bought this item from best buy stores I absolutely love this product! Very well made, versatile can be used several ways, not bulky with just the perfect amount of protection! Please keep this item in your inventory and make available in more colors?? The only thing I would add is possibly a strong snap closure since the item is so flush to the case other then that it is the BEST! I love it so much I’m going to purchase another one just to have in case it gets discontinued or something.

The product is excellent, and the company's service is outstanding. The reason I'm giving it four stars is that the product designed for the iPad M2 and M3 models was made of better material than the one for the iPad M4 and M5 models. However, overall, the product is excellent, like all Targus iPad cases. I hope the company will remake the older model using the same material for the newer models. To be honest, I always buy the best iPad cases from Targus, and I wouldn't trade them for any other case. The designs are distinctive and comfortable. Thank you, Targus, for your beautiful craftsmanship and clear, helpful service.

I always buy from Targus…There covers for my iPad Pros always fit perfectly and a stronger made, looks better than the rest on the market.. Targus is worth the money because you get the quality ????

Disappointing
Especially for the price, the clunky design and cheap feeling materials are disappointing. I would not have reviewed it at all, but both my attempts to return it left me waiting for an email that never came

Best iPad Pro Case for creative professionals
I needed a case that I could use in both vertical and horizontal formats since I use it for sheet music. This was a perfect solution and it wrks really well I also appreciate that I can safely keep my Apple Pencil Pro inside and charged. I kept losing the pencil with other cases. This keeps it all together. Basically it's the perfect iPad case. The material is also sturdy and light. It's much more secure for travel.

Covers all the bases
This is my third iPad, and my third Targus case. It’s my go-to. My preferred iPad protector. Easy to use, very good protection, adjustable for different uses. Travels well. I use mine for video classes… easy to adjust for viewing student tasks. It even provides protection if you drop your iPad- if you don’t drop it too great a distance.

Great rotating case
I really like the Targus rotating cases. To me they hold up well, though I am not very rough on them either. I love the feature that it will rotate in the case and has a protective cover. The only thing I wish this had was the flap like my 10 1/2 inch iPad case had. I felt the flap would help k eep it closed better if it should fall and help protect it more.

Sorry guys, this one’s a swing and a miss.
Usually Targus products are great. This one, not so much.
The home button and volume controls are on the bottom right, very awkward placement and hard to use there.
You can rotate the case 180 degrees, but then it won’t close!
Also, the speakers are completely covered…..!
Targus products are usually great, this one just misses the mark.

Good but not quite what I expected.
It’s comfortable holding and watching videos and a good texture for gripping. It does have a spot for the Apple Pencil which I didn’t realize so it’s a little bigger than I expected since I don’t have or use one.

iPad Case 10th Gen.
Just received the case and it appears to be well built. Only problem is the volume control tab on the front of the case on upper left shows the increase and decrease levels reversed. Increase volume should be shown to the right, not the left and decrease volume should be shown to the left, not the right.

Misses the mark
The case covers the speakers. Not good.
Also, the case puts the home button and volume buttons on the lower right, very awkward placement.
You can rotate it 180 degrees but then the case won’t close due to the pen holder.
I’ve been using Targus products for years and generally love them. This one just misses the mark.

Works well except for volume controls
Case works well for everything except adjusting the volume. The 2 buttons on the side to raise and lower volume do not reach the iPhone's volume controls.

Wrong design
I did not include a stylus with my iPad purchase so I’m disappointed that ordering a Gen 10 case included a slot for a stylus which I don’t need and will only gather dirt and lint in the future. I would have preferred a simple cover and would not have ordered this if I knew what I was getting.

Sturdy iPad (A16) rotating case.

The case was delivered this morning and I’m impressed with it; sleek, slick and does the trick. Perfect viewing angles while the iPad sits in its case; the magnetic closure keeps it safely inside. The 13” iPad is pretty large to put in a safety jacket. I’ve always been a Targus fan, but when I searched for a cover for a 13” iPad, I was prepared to take whatever was available. This protective jacket is multi functional and works as well as the smaller models. I am pleased.

VersaVue iPad cover: The best protective cover!
I’ve used the Targus VersaVu iPad cover on every iPad that I’ve owned. The VersaVue is the best protective cover for the iPads; either, 11 inch or 13inch. The latest VersaVue for the iPad Pro allows for the Pro Pencil to be attached with the ability to charge - an outstanding feature. The VersaVue has been super protective for all of my iPads as well; a true quality for IPads. Please keep making the VersaVue protective cove for future iPads. Thanks!

Hard to find a better iPad case
Very well made iPad case. I love the place for the Apple pen. Also the many open positions attainable even vertical flip. It’s a bit heavy but it is also very durable.

Buyer beware
No sleep/wake. If you have previous model THZ867GL-52 use it instead because it fits and also functions no sleep/awake for M4 (It functioned sleep/awake for previous iPad mini model edition). Recommend you buy from a local store or an online retailer who offers free returns, because Targus guarantee does not cover shipping back to Targus. Holly, Customer Service refuses to transfer customer calls so customer can escalate customer complaint to Targus management . Holly says it is up to the customer to figure out that if it does not say “sleep/awake” in the description, then it does not do sleep/awake (like all previous iPad mini Targus cases did do sleep/awake). Also be warned that the first edition of the previous iPad mini case, that is THZ867GL,the Apple Pencil cradle’s Targus case wall was too thick so Bluetooth could not penetrate the THZ867GL to charge the pencil. So, rather than recalling the defective tablet cases or at least replacing cases at no charge for complaining customers who bought the defective cases, Targus kept quiet, changed manufacturing parameters after paying customers did Targus’ in-the-field iPad case quality control, pocketed the money for the defective cases and moved on. Given Targus does not do quality control and is not honest, it is recommended you do not order anything directly from Targus. It instead but locally so you can avoid return shipping fee to use the warranty coverage on your defective Targus product. Targus makes the best case, they just do not do quality control and then they charge the customer to ship in the defective case to Targus. Targus offers no way to escalate a customer complaint beyond agent Holly (who has been the only one who answers the Customer Service calls in my experience. Good products. Defective customer service & warranty coverage. I doubt this review will ever be posted, however hopefully it will bypass agent Holly and make it to Targus management. Why don’t you offer your tablet cases through Apple online and Apple Stores so they can certify your tablets properly work on Apple’s iPads?

Product seems pretty solid, although it is a little heavy. You have to expect that with military-grade protection. The sleep/wake function is working, as well as the closure magnet. I’ve never had a folio case before, but hopefully I’ll get used to it.

Excellent Protective Case
Quick service and shipping by Targus. The VersaVu case for the new 11 inch (M4) iPad Pro is excellent. The case is protective, rotates, allows for storage of iPad pen, and allows several angles of viewing. This is the second Targaus VersaVu case that I have purchased (the first for an iPad Pro 10.5").

With the screen cover folded back the camera lens is covered. Nothing to hold the cover in the open position. The magnet holding the cover closed is weak.

Perfect fit, feel, and functionality
Just purchased this today, fits my iPad Pro 11" (and the pencil) perfectly. As this is my first iPad and first case, took me a minute to figure out how to use the case as a stand. A quick look at the website though and it became clear. Very nice overall feel and functionality.

Buyer Beware
No sleep/awake. My old model of this fits and works just as well, but it also, like this new model numbered 11-inch tablet case, has no sleep/awake for M4 11-inch iPad. Recommend buy from local store or online company offering free return shipping to avoid Targus’ return shipping cost. Also, check Apple Pencil slot to assure case wall thickness is thin enough to allow Bluetooth recognition and charging of the pencil while in the slot. Targus Customer service agent Holly says “If it does not say sleep/awake, then it does not work iPad sleep/awake (even if previous similar Targus case had working sleep/awake feature). Targus did not offer/issue recall, nor free return shipping when my original previous model 11-inch iPad case was too thick for Apple Pencil charging; instead just kept same Targus case model number and modified later production runs so Apple Pencil slot wall thickness was thin enough to allow Apple Pencil Bluetooth charging. Targus makes fantastic cases, however buyer must carefully check for omitted details and buy locally or from online companies that offer free return shipping so when Targus does not do factory Quality control or omits a usual feature from the case, then the customer is not left to find out something distasteful about the tablet case. Targus is a Better Business Bureau member in its California town, so customer can internet contact BBB there to report incidents and concerns since Targus Customer Service has Buyer Beware attitude. I doubt this review will ever be displayed online given Targus has no obligation to do so, however it’s is the only way to bypass perpetual Targus customer service agent Holly who has been unhelpful in hopes that someone in the Targus company management will consider some policy changes and also offer a customer like me the opportunity to directly escalate a complaint directly to Targus Company management staff. Targus makes the best iPad tablets on the market in my opinion , however omitting statement that a usual feature is now absent and failure to offer a customer a cost effective replacement for a bad production design and lack of factory quality control (instead using the customers to do quality control by reporting defects to customer service after the sale and then requiring customers to self pay to ship known to be defective item back to Targus is not a nice way to do business. Targus iPad M4 Case 5 Star Design
Excellent Quality design that is sturdy and protective of edges and also has multiple viewing positions. I have been using Targus since early days of iPad and it is a 5 Star design. Recently tried Apple and Otter iPad M4 cases while waiting for Targus production of new cases. No comparison keep up good work, don’t change anything.

Closure locking flap or no flap
I replaced an older iPad with the M4 plus a Pencil Pro. The original Targus case could not accommodate the Pencil Pro. This replacement case is fine, but I wish that it had the locking closure flap of the former case. This case is more likely to open spontaneously. This is probably a personal preference. I can imagine that some users didn’t like the flap.

It DOES charge the Apple Pencil
Just received this iPad Pro M4 case. No where I searched mentioned it being able to charge the Apple Pencil. I even called Targus Customer Support and was told it would not charge it.
Well it DOES charge the pencil as long as you place the flat side of the pencil toward the iPad Pro as you would normally do.
