Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fourth and worst Sony TV that I've owned. I bought this TV the day before Thanksgiving so my family and I could watch the football games and parades. I wanted a larger screen and smart features that my old TV doesn't have. As I was shopping for TVs, I told the salesman about our viewing habits and the fact that I'm an avid NFL fan. He did tell me that this was not necessarily the best TV for fast sports and that the next level up would be better but it was $300 more and I was already stretching my budget. So I bought and installed it and have had it now for almost a week. I've watched five or six football games, and some TV shows and I just have to say that the picture is underwhelming to say the least. My wife completely agrees. When the camera is zoomed out on the field, the players are blurbs that look like 1970's Atari characters and anyone that moves is 'trailed' by blur. When stationary or slow moving players or people in general are zoomed in, the picture is 'good' but not great. I've fiddled with color settings, clarity and screen dimensions among other options using a thousand different combinations. I was able to reasonably dial in the color, but am completely dissatisfied with the overall image quality and watching any sports is nothing short of distracting and annoying. This is my fourth Sony TV, and my ten year old Sony that I still have in my bedroom has a better image quality overall. I will be returning this TV to the retailer and seeking another brand in the price point. Very disappointed, although I did give it one more star than I think it really deserves because I do like the smart features (but even they are available on other smart TVs). Other than that, I would not recommend this TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Develops lines stay away Purchased 2 months ago and has been terrible. TV developed lines that went away on their on an has now developed a line of 2 weeks that has not gone away and is being blamed on someone damaging. Was hard to understand since support is not in the US and BestBuy doesn’t want to deal with it either. Should’ve stuck with Samsung. Filed a case and heard nothing for 2 weeks so called only to be told not warranty. $1700 do a tv that didn’t last 2 months. Never again stay away from Sony
