SmartVerify™: Data is verified during the backup cycle to confirm that there are no errors. This eliminates the need for a traditional verify pass at the end of the backup and can reduce the backup window by half.
MediaShield™: Provides enhanced cooling and roller mechanism.
Extends media life by 2x over drives from other LTO manufacturers. Heat generating components are kept in separate chambers from the tape path and media. Ceramic tape heads and guides are also used so that the heat does not create excess wear and tear on the media.
FastSense™: A multiple-speed sensor that matches the physical tape speed to the incoming host data rate.
Ensures tape streaming and eliminates shoe-shining.
Dynamic PowerDown™: A secure power management system that gradually cycles down the drive during a loss of power.
