Protect your equipment from power surges and blackouts

5500 devices are designed for mounting on 19-inch racks where transient voltage surge suppression is desired for rack-mounted electronic equipment. Cat. No. 5500 offers a total of 12 protected outlets, 10 in back and two in front, to provide for the easy, convenient plug-in of all mounted equipment. Its advanced circuit design offers extremely tight clamping levels and exceptional noise attenuation. Each receptacle provides Normal Mode (L-N) and Common Mode (L-G, N-G) protection. Each unit is provided with an on/off rocker switch, power, protection and outlet polarity/ground status LED diagnostics, a resettable overload circuit breaker and a 12 foot power supply cord. The unit will continue to provide power in the event that protection is lost. Both the 5500-190 and 192 models are UL Recognized Component TVSS 1449 Standard, 330 Volts peak and CSA Certified.



The 19" Rack Mount Surge Protective Devices (SPD) are designed for use on AC power lines. These devices have been tested to ANSI/IEEE C62.41 standards for Categories A and B environments.
