Great monitor, excellent value!
I've been using this monitor for almost a year, and would highly recommend to anyone. It's great value. .... The only downside (and why it gets 4 stars, not 5) is that the button menu system is not at all intuitive (kind a frustrating to use) – I'd highly suggest that Lenovo improve that interface.

Not Bad But Has Issues
The unit has a decent image and is especially good in HDR mode. However, I wanted it for photo editing and while it has an Adobe RGB gamut setting, the image there looked "pasty" when set to that. It's as though the dithering algorithm "broke down". Instead of smooth skin tones, it looked like layers of color superimposed on top of each other. (I have an older 32" Lenovo and while it doesn't have HDR, it doesn't have this issue either.)
Also, the firmware is on the odd side: When it's in Adobe RGB mode, it prevents you from changing the contrast!
In the end I returned it.

Nice image, terrible whirring and buzzing sounds
Monitor image quality is good, monitor design is nice, but these things are LOUD. The electric whirring and buzzing is very noticeable. Especially when monitors are powered off, and especially when they’re connected to a computer on sleep mode, like a Mac via Thunderbolt cables. (A Google search will reveal others with the same issue) I decided to just put up with it because I bought two and didn’t want to go through the trouble. I attempted to alleviate it by covering one corner of the vents with a back strip of neoprene, which helped some. This might not be great for heat ventilation, but there are so many vents I decided to take the risk to reduce the buzzing.
If Lenovo thinks people won’t care and will just “put headphones on” like their article about electric whirring says, they’re dead wrong. Everyone I’ve shown it too hates the sounds.

Awesome companion for a MacBook Pro
I ordered this a few weeks ago to go with a 16" MacBook Pro. It not only works great as a larger monitor, but serves as a docking station as well, allowing me to keep an external drive, ethernet, USB audio DAC, and cables for phone and iPad connected to the monitor, so that I only have to plug in the Thunderbolt cable. This provides power to the laptop, feeds the video to the monitor, and connects the passthrough USB ports and Ethernet.

Good image, colors seem to match what I print. Wish there were an option to recalibrate internal LUTs for long-term performance, but for the money it seems to work quite well. Connectivity is sufficient, and brightness is high. Actually I wish I could make it a bit less bright.

Excelent color, but the KVM doesn't work.
First, the contras, that may not be relevant for you.
- If the KVM is important to you, look somewhere else. The KVM of this monitor is quirky when it works. Most times it doesn't work. It is uncapable of waking up a PC that was sleeping, so you need to wake up the PC, then switch to it.
- Controls are outdated. Modern monitors come with a joystick to operate the OSD, but this still uses the row of buttons.
- PC software only works in Windows 10, not Windows 11.
- Black is not very dark.
- In hopes to improve the KVM, I searched for a firmware update. There's no tool available, meaning that Lenovo does not plan to update its firmware. This may change in the future.
Now the pros:
- Excellent color! Delta E smaller than 0.5, which is great. Means that the color presented on the screen is very close to the color sent by the PC.
- Impressive color space. 100% sRGB and more than 95% AdobeRGB and DCI-P3.
- Very good number of ports. I removed a number of cables, KVM and USB hubs when I installed this monitor.

4K monitor with wonderful color and connectivity
Bought this monitor to be used side by side with my Dell Ultrasharp FHD one. The 4K resolution is so much better for viewing text at work, not to mention getting the best out of 4K videos/movies. Out of box, the color is so much more vibrant and accurate compared to my older monitor. That motived me to go through my photo collection again and I got better memory about the trips I went for taking those photos. My measurements with a Spyder Pro indicate 100% coverage for Adobe RGB color gamut, matching the specifications. The thunderbolt connection also works great with my laptop, and I can actually use the one-cable solution without worry about balancing bandwidths for video and data signals. I really believe that Thunderbolt or USB C 4 IS required for a 4K monitor which is also used as hub.

Excellent picture quality with a few minor flaws
Excellent picture quality with a few minor usability issues. I like the 27" size as I don't have a ton of space for a 30+ inch one. Text can definitely be on the small side, but the clarity helps a lot. The image itself is great, with excellent color reproduction, as expected from a factory calibrated monitor. The stand works well and overall build quality seems good. A multitude of very fast ports make it a reasonable hub for a handful of devices and LAN. Got on sale for an excellent deal for a 27" 4k Tbolt calibrated monitor.
Downsides: The speakers are absolute trash...any notebook speakers sound better, trust me, just disable them. The menu interface is annoying old-school arrows/buttons. And the back USB-A ports are downright silly with less than 1A of power each (can't even power my old Ben Q Screenbar).
But for what I paid I can live with it all, as it's beautiful to look at all day...okay, the 1A USB ports is really annoying. LOL

VERY GOOD MONITOR in terms of color reproduction. Thin bevel on edge. Good looking. Mostly plastic construction. easy to assemble. Tilt mechanism ok but wd be better if it cd tilt forward more--it only sits at 180 degrees facing forward and the bottom of monitor can be tilted further toward the base. Controls not entirely intuitive but aside from this the basic functions on this monitor are very good. Connection options are also very good.

Better value than Apple Studio Display
This is a very nice monitor. I bought it to pair with a Mac. The Thunderbolt 4 does not work with legacy Macs that have Thunderbolt 1 or 2. I tried Thunderbolt using Apple's Thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter with a 2013 Mac Pro and a 2012 MacBook Pro and it does not work. Neither the display or the built-in dock. It does work with an M1 Mac mini that has Thunderbolt 3. Both the display and dock work. So Thunderbolt 1 & 2 Macs not working is probably a software limitation on Apple's end. Of course the display can still be connected to older Macs using DisplayPort and HDMI.
I also have the ThinkVision P27u-10 that this monitor replaces. The older monitor is excellent and the display might be better on that one to be honest. The first P27u-20 Lenovo sent me was defective with lines all through the bottom half of the screen and it made a loud buzzing sound. I don't know if it slipped through quality control and was defective before it left the warehouse or if it became damaged during shipping. The shipping box was not damaged. I submitted a warranty claim and Lenovo sent me a replacement from a 3rd party, but it appears to have been a customer return and had lots of dead pixels. So I returned both of them and the sales department helped me order a new one. The 3rd monitor is good. There are a couple defective pixels, but they are so small they are hard to see; so I'm not going to worry about it.
When I bought the older P27u-10 the first one they sent me had dead pixels too and the 2nd one is great with zero dead pixels. So I suppose monitors in general are hit or miss. I think you'll be happy once you get a good one. I checked out Apple's Studio Display at the Apple Store today and I wasn't impressed with it. It was very thick also. This Lenovo display is a much better value, especially with the built-in Thunderbolt 4 dock!

Great display and connectors, bad speakers
I purchased this monitor for work. I was hoping the built-in speakers would allow me to get rid of my external desktop speakers for a cleaner desk. Unfortunately, the sound is very weak and tinny. I could not stand it and plugged my desktop speakers back on. I was not expecting dolby atmos.. jut decent enough sound depth given the monitor size and bottom bezel.
Other than that, the display is great, the connectors are great, it does everything it says on the box - only the speakers are disappointing, which is not a deal breaker for me when I buy a monitor.

Very pleased with this monitor so far. I needed a new setup at home for a new job and had been using Lenovo at my previous workplace for several years with no issues so I decided to replicate my prior setup. The size is great for working, visuals are plenty large and crisp. I paired this with the T34w-30 (I don’t have enough room for two ultrawides) and the height of the actual monitors match perfectly.

Great monitor at a sale price!
This is a very nice monitor. I was tracking it at $750 and was considering purchasing, but when it dropped to $550, I jumped on it. It is not as nice as the 5k on my iMac pro, but VERY close. It is a matte finish screen and has pretty small bezels and is very adjustable. I also like the slot on the base that I can stick my cell phone in as a stand. Very nice touch! I didn't like the calibration out of the box (it did include a report on the calibration, but it felt a little too warm to me) and I'm not using this for any hyper critical color work, so I played with the settings a bunch and got it to match pretty closely to my iMac's monitor and that works for me just nice. brightness is supposedly less than the iMac Pro monitor, but I have my iMac at about 40% brightness (Apple uses dots, not numbers, so I'm not sure what the exact percentage is) for my dark office and I set this one at 25% to feel similar to the iMac.... so go figure on that one... I do some photo work and some video work. Video looks good on this monitor, but it's not a gaming monitor. It plays the games I play fine (Minecraft and some vintage games) but I don't know how it would hold up to high frame rate games that need a super high refresh rate.... maybe it would be ok though... I just like the crispness of the monitor for text and graphics. Very nice and well worth even the $750 I was considering spending on it. Oh, I did play around with rotating this when I was first setting it up just to see what that was like and I felt like it wouldn't lock in at exactly 90 degrees when I put it in portrait mode (it seemed to want to be very slightly crooked and I felt that it would need some modification to get it to exactly 90 degrees for portrait mode) and that was the only negative thing about it for me, but I'm planning to keep it in horizontal mode all the time, so not a deal breaker, but I'm mentioning it just in case it helps someone.

Great value on a rare combination
I'm a MAC user which means I need a 27 inch 4K screen to take advantage of my macbook. I also wanted a screen with Thunderbolt to use it as a hub. There are not many monitors with 4K and Thunderbolt, I guess it's because of the price of combining these two technologies. Dell has a USB-C hub monitor but you get it either in 4K with no Thunderbolt or with Thunderbolt but no 4K. The only options available were well over 800$ (Samsung viewfinity and LG Ultrafine, considering latest releases) and with the clearance discount I got this one for less than 400$. This is the time to get these, I'm even planning on getting a second one. Also, using the software BetterDisplays you can even control its brightness with the keyboard.

A Solid Monitor
I’m genuinely pleased with the Lenovo ThinkVision P27u-20. The build quality feels solid and “office-grade,” and the design is clean without being flashy. The USB-C single-cable setup is the standout for me—video, data, and charging through one connection makes desk use feel much more streamlined. Image quality is excellent for productivity: text looks crisp, colors appear consistent, and it’s comfortable for long sessions. The stand is a big plus—easy height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot, so it’s simple to get an ergonomic setup. The built-in hub functionality is practical: plugging peripherals into the monitor keeps the workspace tidy and reduces cable clutter. Overall, it feels like a well-rounded, professional monitor that’s clearly designed for daily use.

The factory calibration is pretty good and the gamut is excellent. No dead pixels. Thunderbolt 4 interface does not work. Bottom bezel plastic is wavy and screwed up looking, but doesn't actually interfere with the function. Left and right edges have a weird ghosty hologram look so stuff looks really weird right at the edge and there are two dim bars.

Good On Paper, Poor Quality Control
This monitor has the same color reproduction capabilities (near-full AdobeRGB and DCI-P3 coverage) and features (e.g. KVM switch, Thunderbolt 3/4 support with daisy chaining) typically found in the $900+ equivalents.
Unfortunately, the quality control and the customer service backing the product is quite poor. While decently quiet and steady when active, my original unit produces an excessively loud and pulsating coil whine on sleep/standby. I had to call in 4-5 times during the past 6 months I've owned it to get a replacement (since apparently monitors can't be handled via the web portal or email), each time resulting in support saying a monitor would be sent but nothing actually sent for a month. When they finally sent a replacement, the unit had marginally better but still excessive coil whine. The bottom bezel also doesn't sit flush against the panel in several sections on both units.
If you're willing to play the quality control lottery, this is still a good value when it comes to performance and features. If not, I'd look at other monitors using variants of the same BOE quantum dot panel like the ViewSonic VP2786-4K (~$1000, similar color reproduction performance and KVM but drops Thunderbolt 3/4 support for a built-in colorimeter + control puck and magnetic monitor hood), Philips 279E2FQE (~$500-600 USD equivalent in TWD/NT) if you're in Asia Pacific. No KVM), or Xiaomi Mi 4K Professional Display XMMNT27NU (~$550 USD equivalent in CNY) if you're in Asia Pacific. No KVM). Outside of those, most other monitors with similar performance and features are in the $1000-1500+ range like the ones based off variants of a 2304 zone MiniLED panel from BOE, a high refresh 576 zone MiniLED panel from AUO, or OLED panels. If this model's an indicator of its successor, the Lenovo ThinkVision P27pz-30, I'd be cautious of that one as well.

Coil whine from power supply
Coil whine from power supply monitor. Happens when you use use the powered USB-C port or not. Since this monitor is in my bedroom, you hear it in a quiet house at night when trying to sleep. Contacted Lenovo and was sent a replacement which made no difference. Very unfortunate for a monitor that has very good picture quality and advertised as the professional series.

Awesome screen
Bought it about 1 month ago. Great vibrant colors. I have a 2k screen as well and it blows the colors away. The speakers are not the best, while it is a nice feature to have, i use laptops speakers. Alot of ports, charging usb-c feature is great. While ive seend people complain about the buttons and toggling, im used to it. Really awesome screen

Great Monitor.
Perfect size, great colors, easy setup, simple operation. One minor point - on monitor button icons for menu and switching operations need to be brighter so they can be seen from a standard viewing distance.

No really "Near-Edgeless"
Product images and specifications are misleading. Claims and shows 2mm bezel, but actual viewable space has 8mm edges, which is not shown in the images on the website.

Lenovo ThinkVision P27u-20
Purchased this monitor for it's graphics capabilities and have impressed with it's color accuracy. The monitor's high resolution makes it good for viewing small text, condensed & crowded sreadsheets, while its color accuracy. Connectivity to this monitor does not fall short, including a pair of Thunderbolt 4 connectors—while keeping the latter's impressive color accuracy and slightly bettering its ergonomics. The P27u-20 is a fine docking-station monitor—it has all the connections I have ever needed utilizing this monitor, as I use it as an extended monitor for 3 PC's mounted on a swivel stand.
Unexpected features - include the ability to power your computer and connect via Ethernet

Overpriced and may be faulty
Some setting are not intuitive, nor compatible with a Lenovo laptop. (HDR for example)
Also, brand new and there seems to be a burnt plastic smell coming from the right rear of this monitor. Expected more for $600+!

Unmatched Price and Color Features
The professional color features are unmatched with the price. We've been stocking all our production desks with this, covering 3D, image editing, VFX and video production. All calibrated identically, which makes our team's review sessions the same regardless of the station it's looked at. Highly recommend these.

Impressive for the $
I originally bought this monitor for my son who is studying photography. After testing it out, I think I might be stealing it from him. To test it a thunderbolt 2 raid is plugged into the monitor with an Apple adapter. When I turn on my MacBook Pro 16 everything starts up together. I also have other external usb drives, a scanner and my time machine drive all hooked up at the same time.
A note on the display. Great colour for the price. Adobe RGB for under $1k…amazing when working with photos.
Contrary to some reviews I read, I find the menu simple to navigate…and I had the monitor assembled and running with all or my devices in 15 minutes. I even plugged my studio monitors directly in to see if he could do the same.
I thought the shape of the bezel would bother me (I prefer symmetrical all the way around) but it doesn’t…even though I would prefer that.
I will be buying him a hood, but was told that it is unavailable through Lenovo, which is slightly disappointing.

Great for working from home
Ordered 2 of these for working from home and have been a good upgrade from my old P27q-10. I like being able to daisy chain via thunderbolt and have USB devices hooked up to both monitors passed through to the laptop. Nice and quiet compared to my P27q-10s (they were starting to buzz and whine is some configurations). Also super easy to switch between my work laptop and personal PC without needing touching any devices (mouse, keyboard, webcam). The extra USB C nice for fast charger my phone and headphones.
Super happy so far
