Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lighter than ever This is my third X1, and there's no comparison. I feel like old ones should not have been qualified as X1 carbons in the first place. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best gift I could have given I bought the ThinkPad X1 Carbon for my boyfriend, as he had a Lenovo previously and loved it. I have to say, the product has only improved. One feature he was looking for was the backlit keypad, as I have it on my Mac and it is not as common on PCs. He loves that the laptop is very light (he can lift it easily right after a neck surgery) and had no issues setting it up. He uses it for law school and business, so I couldn't have picked a better computer to fit his needs! It is a quick performer and the battery life is PHENOMENAL! My only (slight) complaint is it is pricey. But in my opinion, it was well worth it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from portability and good shape I bought it for a month. It spent me 20 days to get it. such a long time. However, good shape and light weight. I accepted it. Hope it would be cheaper. I want to buy a new one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the BEST! I have been working with this work of art, beauty, and unparalleled power for over a month now, and, never in my life have I been truly impressed by a computer so much as my Yoga Think Pad. It is . truly, a work of art in every way. This machine is so light and powerful it seems to be almost floating on air. A pleasure in every way, shape, and form. Of which there are many, because of the awesome flexibility the Yoga possesses. There is nothing it cannot do!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent and really trusted machine This is a really good product. I like the keyboard sensitivity and also the look and field of the screen. Very light, very portable. The 'bad" part is that it is tooooo low to start every morning [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Standout battery life, responsiveness, keyboard Purchased this laptop as a dual-purpose work/personal machine a month ago and have no regrets so far. It keeps up with a half dozen programs running simultaneously and several browser windows with many tabs each. Particular standout features include great battery life right out of the box, and a keyboard that would be nice for a desktop, let alone a laptop. The traditional Thinkpad keyboard layout still has some quirks--the PgUp and PgDn keys are perilous for anyone who frequently uses the arrow keys--and some won't care for the trackball in the middle, but I haven't had a more pleasant typing experience on any laptop in my lifetime. The computer itself is lightweight and very portable, surprisingly so. One price of that portability is limited access ports on the actual device, which does not offer VGA/DVI or ethernet ports natively. There are plenty of ports, they just tend to require adapters (especially since USB-C is still not a default for most attachments). The screen and camera are plenty nice for the likes of me, and the speakers were surprisingly powerful.Overall this has surpassed my expectations, but a key factor in my purchase was likely longevity, as I am transitioning from gaming laptops that tend to burn out quick. Time will tell if this laptop checks that box as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
