Bring back Soft Rim please...pretty please
Soft Rim was by far the best format of the prior generation of Trackpoint caps. I would like to echo the sentiments of the others above to bring that back. For an input device designed to enable the user to place his/her finger in a single location, it makes much more sense to have a concave contact surface than a convex surface - pure physics! Please bring back the common-sense Trackpoint cap format Soft Rim! Thank you.

Count me in as another user wanting the Soft Rim in this low profile format. We need more options! The Soft Dome erodes too quickly... Soft Rim has an underground following! Don't forget about us!

Trackpoint profile is too low
I've had a total of five ThinkPads over the years; the keyboard on the newest model is flatter than previous models. Whenever I am typing I always add the letter "b" to everything, often many times, because the trackpoint button is at the same height as the keys. It needs to be higher like on the older models. b

Not too complicated - works with my X390 Yoga.
These fit my X390 yoga perfectly. To me, they feel slightly less "rounded" than the one that came with the laptop - but I actually prefer that.

They make you buy 10 when you need 1.
The caps are fine, but having to buy a set of 10 when I needed 1 was frustrating. They should be available singly for individual users at a reasonable price.

Love the track-pont!
Always preferred track-point to a scratch pad. These spare caps will ensure that my finger(s will continue to be firmly seated and not slide around.

Check with Chat Representative Before Buying
I ordered these by mistake because the Lenovo site gave no clear information about which trackpoints fit which machines. It became obvious these did not fit my T480 only when I opened the package. I had to use the chat function to learn the trackpoint model number I needed. So this is why I rate the item only 3 stars. Lesson: use the Chat function to get the right model number or you have a good chance of spinning your wheels.

Bring back the soft rim
This trackpoint cap is really difficult to use compared to older ones. I have the sensitivity on max and have a hard time moving the cursor across the screen with the pad of my finger. I now have to dig my nail into the trackpoint to get it to move which has started to split the cap in half

Smaller diameter than original
Purchased these for my T470s they are slightly smaller in diameter than the original but otherwise pretty much the same. The smaller diameter is less comfortable on the finger during long sessions of pointer use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Please bring back Cat's Tongue cap!
I've been trying to like this particular nibble, but it's just ...bad. Please help the community and bring back the Classic Dome (rough cat's tongue) Cap.
There are numerous threads on Reddit, StackExchange, Lenovo's own forum and all other gathering places on the interwebs with cries from users.

image doesn't show that his is 9 identical classic
I was looking for soft rim like in all classic ThinkPads - more suitable for XL palms and XL fingers - a sales rep assisted on T460p purchase recommended this p/n - I've finally received from Honk Kong (!) in a overly large box with signature confirmation (can't drop off in no way) - nine (!) identically shaped classic caps which are so painful on large fingers.
Those are luckily the right seat size for T460p, as ones I had from X60, X61p and T510p had too large seating hole on the bottom and were not fitting the latest T460p
