Product Overview

Main Features
  • 1000' Rackmount ServSwitch Brand CAT5 KVM Serial Extender Hubs
KVM serial extensions up to 1000 feet—with a dual-access option!

Send keyboard, monitor, and mouse signals—plus serial data—1000 feet (304.8 m) from a CPU or ServSwitch.
With the dual-access unit, you can attach two workstations to each CPU.
To convert your USB-style keyboard and mouse signals to PS/2, order the USB to PS/2 converter (KVUSB)
Fully adjustable video equalization for the best possible video quality.
Built-in surge protection.
The hubs are compatible with touch screens.

Put your CPUs or ServSwitch™ KVM switches where you want them—and get rackmount convenience! Plus, these hubs use inexpensive CAT5 cable, so you may be able to use cable you already have installed.

These extender hubs combine six local hubs into one rackmount chassis. Simply connect six remote units via CAT5 UTP and attach your CPUs with our Coax CPU Cable (EHN230). The hubs perform complete PS/2® keyboard and mouse emulation for the attached CPUs.

The hubs and remote unit require no software, are operating-system independent, work with a variety of hardware including Microsoft® IntelliMouse®, and feature built-in surge protection to protect your CAT5 link.

Serial Extender Hub (ACU1006SRA)
Send KVM signals and serial data up to 1000 feet (304.8 m) away.

Dual-Access Serial Extender Hub (ACU1006DSRA)
Our dual-access serial hub takes our single-access serial hub and adds six sets of KVM connections—one for each attached CPU. This enables you to attach two workstations to each CPU—one local and one remote.

Use the local connections to monitor and diagnose the attached CPUs. Just plug the keyboard, monitor, and mouse into the connectors for the CPU you wish to monitor. Or add a ServSwitch and have local access to all CPUs.

Standalone Remote Unit (ACUSREM)
Choose one remote unit for each active port on the hubs. The remote unit is capable of resolutions of 1600 x 1280 at 200 feet (60.9 m), 1280 x 1024 at 300 feet (91.4 m), or 1024 x 768 at 1000 feet (304.8 m).
