ASUS ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI-O11G-GAMING - graphics card - GF GTX 1080 Ti - 11 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive beast of a card Over all this is a great card. What I don't like about it is the fact that it, like most other high end cards, are in short supply and therefore way overpriced. Also, there is no Linux software included (hint hint Nvidia!). That aside, it has been very reliable so far even though it has been driven pretty hard. It has the same problem as all other cards of this design. The hot air coming out of the top and bottom of the heat sink flows right back through the fans and the card is trying to cool itself with hot air which makes it run hotter than it otherwise might although the triple fan design helps. The card runs at a constant 69C when pushed hard and the fan speed has yet to exceed 45%. In any case, If you want a powerful and reliable card for gaming, mining or video editing buy this one. If you do any crypto mining you will get 32.4 Mh/s on Ethash and 750 h/s on Equihash right out of the box. Oh, since there is no Linux software Linux users can't control the lights either. If it matters to you, the lights will slowly fade on and off in a reddish orange color like a slow eerie heartbeat. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.
