Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great solution for small business needs We've been using APC products for over 20 years and we get every last bit of use out of each device. This unit replaces a previous APC device that lasted for over ten years. We have two of these to backup our main local server and phone system, and we have one more at a key workstation. Easy to install and monitor, we get enough juice to cover loss of power to maximize our up time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Which APC to get If it is for something important - Smart-UPS. If you can live with your load going down when the batteries are bad (even if there is utility power) - BackUPS.Smart UPS:If you won't need monitoring, save some money and get the SMC model numbers. If you need monitoring, get a SMT model (SMT has a slot for a network card). But the network management cards are over priced. But the UPSes are good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have two units both on 220V with 208 output. We have had 4 power issues this year and they both managed beautifully. I have added two external batteries to each of them and get just over 2 hour run time. This is about my limit until the room gets too warm to operate and I need to do a shutdown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing battery backups, they have protected all our Server Systems and keep them up and running when there is power outages and surges. The system networking allow us to control remotely the devices and it works well when we need to power on devices after an outage. I would highly recommend it and use them to protect our systems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've used APC UPS equipment for years as they are robust and generally just work, which means I get to sleep at night. The new 3000 series UPS units are excellent. Fitted with a network management card, config is a doddle, and there is an amazing amount of MIB information available for external monitoring of the device over SNMP. Would highly recommend!
