Beware...this pad bows.
Sadly, this happens over time well outside the warranty period. Mine is older but still in pristine condition. I use it backwards simply for the wrist rest. The pad is useless.

loved it until the gel oozed out on my wrist
Loved it until the white gel oozed out on my wrist & desk.
I keep putting black duct tape on it but it eventually oozes out at the edges.
It did last about a year though.

Good bang for your buck
Have mine for 6 years now. Yes, it bowed as well, but it does not seem to be a problem. Cannot work without it anymore. Wrist rest is just perfect. Pad area is a little hard to clean.

3M Engineering needs to perfect this product
This is a great mousepad design, but it warps in weeks. I live in Southern Nevada so I think the Mojave climate is too dry for them as currently designed. I would be grateful if the incredible engineers at 3M (I mean that) would put their minds together and make this mousepad warp-proof. Thank you!

Inconsistent life
I have purchased this pad several times but disappointed in the latest one that started bowing after 6 months. It took me a while to figure out this was the issue of my mouse skipping and I didn't ask for a swap within the 1-year time frame so I'll need to purchase another.

Poorly made
After a few month of use, the side of the gel wrist rest split open. The very sticky gel oozed out onto my hand and table. How disappointing.
