Know your gear
The Switch 4007 modular switch is designed with the flexibility to support you where you need it most, whether in the data center or as the backbone for SuperStack® II in the wiring closet. In addition, the Switch 4007 can be leveraged as your complete network in a box, with the wiring closet, backbone, and data center configured in one chassis.
The Switch 4007 is engineered specifically for growing organizations, providing performance of up to 48Gbps and making it an ideal backbone aggregator for SuperStack II switches in your wiring closet.
The Switch 4007 allows you to scale your backbone as your business grows and your requirements change. For increased reliability and scalability you can further customize the Switch 4007 with redundant power supplies and management engines, as well as add optional I/O modules. With the added customization you can meet your requirements for things such as more Layer 2 and Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
