ONSITE ENGINEER IMPLEMENTATION SERVICE 8 HOURS ADD-ON

SERVICE BRIEF: SIR-SIR-NET-110, SIR-SIR-CVG-110, SIR-SIR-STG-110, SIR-SIR-PWR-110, SIR-SIR-DPM-110, SIR-SIR-SYZ-110

For each quantity listed in the proposal, this provides the customer 8-hours with a onsite Sirius Technical resource to provide Sirius supported compute, storage or networking technologies within Hybrid Infrastructure services. This service is provided in conjunction with and requires the purchase of a Sirius Base Implementation service.

SIRIUS QUICK ORDER SERVICES FOR IBM i PERFORMANCE REVIEW

SERVICE BRIEF: SIR-SIR-PWR-201

Service Brief

For each unit ordered in the Proposal, this service delivers a performance review of a single IBM i logical partition within the IT Organization. This service provides recommendations based on findings for what changes could potentially improve system health and performance. This engagement includes:

•   Review of current hardware and software environment.
  • Includes a single logical partition.
  • Includes review of server, console and virtual I/O (VIO) servers used by partition.
• Perform review of current system settings:
  • Hardware Management Console (HMC) security; and
  • VIOS security; and
  • Network security; and
  • Power server; and
  • IBM i user security; and
  • Object security; and
  • System error logs.
• Review and recommend changes to improve security.

This service will be provided “remotely" or scheduled around local resource availability, if, due to Customer’s schedule or requirements a remote or local resource cannot be used, expenses may be charged for reasonable out-of-pocket travel and living expenses.

SIRIUS QUICK ORDER SERVICES FOR IBM i SECURITY REVIEW

Service Brief

For each unit ordered in the Proposal, this service delivers a security review of a single IBM i logical partition within the IT Organization. This service provides recommendations based on findings for what changes could potentially improve system health while focusing on security and ransomware exposure. This engagement includes:

•   Review of current hardware and software environment.
  • Includes a single logical partition.
  • Includes review of server, console and virtual I/O (VIO) servers used by partition.
• Perform review of current system settings:
  • Hardware Management Console (HMC) security; and
  • VIOS security; and
  • Network security; and
  • Power server; and
  • IBM i user security; and
  • Object security; and
  • System error logs.
• Review and recommend changes to improve security.

For each quantity listed in the proposal, this service delivers an upgrade of the IBM AIX operating system on up to two (2) AIX images to the latest version of AIX, or to an earlier, still supported version of AIX. This remote service includes:

• Planning and site readiness review.
• Download AIX upgrade media.
• Perform AIX upgrade.
• Test and verify upgrade.
• Resource coordination and single point of contact.

SIRIUS QUICK ORDER SERVICES FOR IBM AIX OPERATING SYSTEM UPGRADE - MULTIPLE LPAR

SERVICE BRIEF: SIR-SIR-PWR-207

Service Brief
For each quantity listed in the proposal, this service delivers an upgrade of the IBM AIX operating system on a multiple LPAR server. This service includes an IBM-supported version upgrade and applies to only IBM products included in the Standard Media Set. This remote service includes:

• Planning and site readiness review.
• Download new operating system (OS) and install prerequisite Product Temporary Fix (PTF).
• Perform Network Install Manager (NIM) server upgrade to latest version of AIX.
• Perform OS upgrade, verify upgrade, and reset any parameters changed during upgrade.
• Resource coordination and single point of contact.

This service is to perform an upgrade on an AIX server with multiple LPARs but requires the LPAR upgrade Add-on service for additional LPARs beyond quantity of one.

SIRIUS QUICK ORDER SERVICES FOR IBM AIX OPERATING SYSTEM UPGRADE - MULTIPLE LPAR

SERVICE BRIEF: SIR-SIR-PWR-208

Service Brief
For each quantity listed in the proposal, this service delivers one (1) additional LPAR to an upgrade of the IBM AIX operating system or single standalone server. This service requires the purchase of an IBM AIX Operating System Upgrade –Multiple LPAR.

• Planning and site readiness review.
• Download the new operating system (OS) and install any required prerequisite Product Temporary Fix (PTF).
• Perform OS upgrade, verify upgrade, and reset any parameters changed during upgrade.
• Resource coordination and single point of contact.

This service is provided in conjunction with and requires the purchase of one or more IBM AIX Operating System Upgrade – Multiple LPAR services
