CDW has achieved membership in the Billion Dollar Roundtable (BDR), joining an exclusive group of U.S.-based companies that have procured more than $1 billion annually from minority- and women-owned businesses on a first-tier basis. This accomplishment reflects CDW’s strong commitment to ensuring a diverse and inclusive supply chain and establishes CDW as a leader in this space.
Through its supplier diversity program, CDW is committed to generating business opportunities that position diverse suppliers for economic sustainability, yield competitive advantages for the company and deliver exceptional technology experiences for customers through innovation. CDW’s position in the BDR will enable it to promote and share best practices in supply chain diversity and will support continued growth of its successful supplier diversity program.
“A diverse supplier base enables CDW to contribute to the economic well-being of all segments of the U.S. population. We recognize that partnering with suppliers who provide a diverse set of ideas – in addition to delivering support, goods and services – creates a significant competitive advantage for CDW and our customers,” said Dave Hutchins, vice president, strategic programs, CDW. “We are honored to have reached this important milestone and look forward to continuing our work leading, influencing and shaping supplier diversity excellence.”
CDW joins 28 major U.S.-based corporations in the BDR, including: Apple, AT&T, Dell, IBM, Microsoft and Verizon Communications. A full list of member companies can be found on the BDR website.
