CDW concluded its 30th annual Fun Drive after raising $523,597 to support Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. Throughout the month-long campaign, CDW coworkers organize and participate in creative fundraising events including barbeques, kickball tournaments, golf outings and virtual scavenger hunts that benefit CMN Hospitals across North America.
To date, CDW has raised more than $8.3 million for CMN Hospitals, which treats 10 million children each year. One of those children is Logan Parker, who has Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease, a rare condition that affects mobility and speech. During this year’s Fun Drive, CDW coworkers followed Logan’s journey, and on July 11 hosted Logan and his family for a fun day filled with puppies, birthday cake and baseball.
“For 30 years, CDW has been a proud supporter of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” said Tom Richards, president, chairman and CEO, CDW. “Thanks to the dedicated and generous efforts of our coworkers and the giving spirit of our partners and local businesses in supporting our Fun Drive events, we are able to help make miracles happen in the communities where we live and work.”
“We are thrilled by the creative thinking and generous nature that CDW and their coworkers have shared with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for the past 30 years,” said John Lauck, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “CDW raised over half a million dollars this year and we are in awe of their continued commitment to supporting children’s hospitals and the sick and injured kids in their communities.”
