CDW was named a Top 100 Employer on the 2023 American Opportunity Index. In addition to scoring in the top 50 overall, the company also secured second position within both the Information Technology Services sector and the Electronics & Computer Hardware sector. The Index is the only one of its kind to measure how well America’s largest companies tangibly invest in their talent, driving both business performance and individual employee growth.

This year’s Index – administered by the Managing the Future of Work Project at Harvard Business School, the Burning Glass Institute, and the Schultz Family Foundation – measures the career trajectories of nearly 5 million employees at 400 of America’s largest companies using independent data from career sites including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other labor market databases.

All of the measured organizations are rated across multiple metrics – including hiring, pay, promotion, parity, and culture – and ranked by sector. The highest-scoring 100 firms overall are recognized as Top Employers; the top 100 companies on each of the five lists are also recognized for their standout performance in that category.
