Jennifer Adams
Senior Director, Sales Experience and Enablement Programs, Poly

Jennifer Adams serves as the senior director of sales experience and enablement at Poly. 

 

In this role, she leads sales enablement and content strategy for the Poly global sales team and directs the global Poly experience center team that designs and delivers demonstration and briefing experiences to promote the Poly story and brand promise. In addition to her roles focused on Poly business, Adams is a passionate advocate for employee experience. She has been leading research into the impact of collaboration technologies on enterprise workstyles since 2013, with the most recent research completed in March 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and an MBA from Santa Clara University. She is a California native and currently resides in Santa Cruz.

Taylor Amerman
Senior Manager, Global Social Impact, CDW

Taylor Amerman is CDW’s global social impact lead, directing the company’s efforts to empower our communities to reach their unlimited potential. 

 

This includes evidence-based strategies to address digital equity through access to technology, STEAM education, digital literacy and workforce development initiatives to create a diverse, inclusive and equitable workforce in the technology industry. Prior to joining CDW in 2021, Taylor led Brown-Forman’s alcohol responsibility efforts to foster a responsible drinking culture. She created and launched the Pause Campaign to prevent drunk driving, prevent underage access and consumption, support addiction recovery, support bystander intervention, make moderation aspirational, and respect the choice not to drink. Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in corporate social responsibility from the University of Nottingham in England, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She currently serves on the board of directors for Volunteers of America Mid-States and the Louisville Metro Parks Advisory Commission. She has been a big sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America for 10 years and a court appointed special advocate. She was named one of Louisville’s 40 Under 40 in 2017 by Louisville Business Fire and the 2016 Outstanding Young Professional of the Year through the Young Professionals Association of Louisville.

Director, Focal Point, a CDW Company

Justin Avery is a cyber workforce development subject matter expert at Focal Point Academy, a services provider that helps enterprise customers design and deploy world-class workforce development programs. 

Avery is a prominent thought leader in the field of workforce development and cybersecurity training, and has spent much of his career on strategies for developing high-performing technical workforces. Before joining Focal Point, he was a director on the federal system integrator team at Global Knowledge, where he led a large sales team focused on IT training.

Tara Barbieri
Vice President, Integrated Services Orchestration, CDW

Tara Barbieri is vice president of integrated services orchestration for CDW. 

Barbieri is responsible for the development, management and governance of CDW services. Orchestration teams include research and development, new service launch, governance and compliance, services operations, and service partner management. The team provides critical transition support from services sales to services delivery. Barbieri joined CDW•G in September 2003. She was promoted in August 2006 and served as director of program sales until transitioning to director of capture in April 2016. In that role, Barbieri was responsible for leading a team of more than 75 opportunity pursuit professionals that focused on winning the largest, most strategic contracts for CDW and CDW•G. Her team handled demand generation, opportunity development, capture strategies, proposal preparation and contract negotiations for all segments of the CDW business. Before working at CDW•G, Barbieri’s career spanned nearly a decade, including roles as an account manager and concluding as director of contracts for MicroWarehouse, a direct reseller of branded IT products and services to businesses. Barbieri graduated from Charter Oak State College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and from Quinnipiac University with a master’s degree in business administration. She is the executive sponsor for CDW’s Business Resource Alliance Valuing Equality (BRAVE), whose mission is to enhance the work environment, provide networking opportunities and promote activities that help our LGBTQ+ coworkers and allies reach their full professional potential.

Deborah Bannworth
Senior Vice President, Maintenance Sales and Services, Sirius, a CDW Company

Deborah Bannworth leads Sirius’s partner alliances, territory and inside sales, and support services divisions. 

She is responsible for managing Sirius’s partnerships with the world’s top technology partners, and her contributions have resulted in numerous industry and partnership awards for the company, including 13 just in the past year. Bannworth has over 30 years of experience in IT sales and was Sirius Open Systems' first full-time sales rep. In addition to her other responsibilities, she spearheaded the development of the Sirius diversity program, focusing on increasing procurement opportunities for direct and indirect spending with minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned and disabled-owned businesses as well as small businesses. Bannworth is a South Texas native who grew up on a farm five miles north of the border. She is a Texas Longhorn and Steelers football die-hard. Among her many adventures, she flies helicopters and never misses a Winter or Summer Olympics.

In his various roles, Dr.  Zafar Chaudry provides vision and leadership for the development of technology initiatives and enterprise wide information systems and services for Seattle Children’s. 

His goal is to provide clinicians with the best technology to deliver safe and excellent care to patients. Chaudry began his career as a physician and has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of IT. His background includes work in both healthcare and corporate settings in the U.S., Australia, Western Europe and the U.K. in enterprise infrastructure development, business intelligence, unified telecommunications, and implementation of healthcare information and electronic health record systems. Chaudry earned his doctor of medicine degree from Ross University in New Jersey. He subsequently earned a master’s degree in health care policy and management from the University of Birmingham, a master’s degree in information systems management from the University of Salford, and MBA from Aston University, all in the U.K. Chaudry was named Seattle CIO of the Year in healthcare and received an ORBIE Award in 2022 and was nominated for the 2021 CHIME-AHA Transformational Leadership Award.

Steven Darrah is director of the national solution provider team within Intel’s U.S. channel and solution provider organization. 

 

In this role, he leads the team responsible for driving the sale of Intel client, server, cloud and edge computing products with Intel’s largest-volume solution providers. He was previously an account director for CDW, Intel’s largest U.S. channel partner. In this role he was responsible for all elements of Intel’s partnership, driving over $1 billion annually in client, data center, cloud and edge computing solution revenue. Darrah has held multiple sales, marketing and services positions within his 20-year career at Intel. During this time, he has focused heavily on driving digital transformation with some of the largest global corporations across retail, healthcare, financial services and manufacturing. Before joining Intel, Darrah held sales leadership positions for emerging technology companies focused on innovation and digital disruption. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration degree from Ohio University and an MBA from DePaul University.

Amir Hameed is a professional engineer with over 25 years of unified communications and contact center domain expertise in presales leadership roles for companies such as Avaya, Ribbon Communications, Nortel Networks and 8x8. 

As RingCentral’s SVP of worldwide solution sales and engineering, Hameed and his organization work with partners and prospects to support the digital transformation strategies of customers worldwide as they migrate their business communications to the cloud. He resides in Toronto.

Bobby Kennedy is a business development manager at CDW. 

He currently serves the New York market by conducting in-person meetings and leading CDW events. Kennedy has been with CDW for nine years and has participated in various mentorship programs. He is a member of Black Excellence Unlimited, a CDW business resource group. He is driven by his passion to serve others and learn new perspectives. Outside of work, Kennedy enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, Aiden and Olivia, by the swimming pool.

​​Michael Kennedy is vice president of technology enablement and strategy for CDW. 

He is responsible for the planning and delivery of the multiyear technology roadmap and leading the strategic transformation program across processes and technology. Kennedy joined CDW in 2021 and brings over 20 years of experience in business transformation, product management and corporate strategy. His experience includes developing new digital products and creating go-to-market strategies in industries ranging from online marketing to autonomous driving. Before joining CDW, Kennedy was the senior director of business planning for highly autonomous driving at HERE Technologies. Prior to that, Kennedy served in a series of leadership roles for global products and services at The Marketing Store, Navteq and Constellation Energy. Kennedy is a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving for five years as an armor officer. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy West Point and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Regional Vice President, Northeast, CDW

Pat Kohl is the new regional vice president for CDW’s northeast division. 

He’s been with CDW for 22 years and most recently served as director of strategic initiatives. During his tenure, Kohl focused on program management and leadership of strategic initiatives within the corporate sales organization. He has worked with all departments at CDW to support viable customer solutions and programs that align with company initiatives, such as customer work-from-home solutions, helping tell a global CDW story and balancing customer needs with working capital expectations.

She is on the advisory boards of the Tuesday Company and True Public, and she is a volunteer for the 78 Cents Project where she helps young women develop strong presentation skills. Lear’s work has been featured on NPR as well as in national publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, USA Today, TIME Magazine and more.

Kristin Malek is the director of business diversity at CDW. In this capacity, she drives CDW’s strategies to achieve business diversity objectives. She is responsible for CDW’s more than $2 billion annual 

supplier diversity spending initiatives. Malek is the architect of CDW’s diverse supply chain, which today is defined as more than 1,100 suppliers that serve the needs of and offer solutions to CDW and its customers. CDW has facilitated more than $14 billion of direct and indirect spending with small, minority-owned firms since 2007. She is a member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, a board member of the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council, a member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, National Veteran-Owned Business Association and tech:SCALE, sharing her guidance and best practices on inclusive business strategies. Malek serves as an executive board member to the nonprofit SheTek in New York City, which focuses on women and young girls participating in science, technology, engineering and math. In 2020, Malek was named one of the Top 25 Women in Power Impacting Diversity. Under Malek’s leadership, CDW was inducted into the prestigious Billion Dollar Roundtable in 2020.

Matthew Montgomery is the managing director for the Verizon business group and leads the business channel sales group. 

As a 20-year industry veteran, Montgomery has held numerous leadership roles in sales, business telesales, engineering, marketing and channel management. Prior to joining Verizon, he held senior management positions at HP, Sprint and Wireless Knowledge (a Microsoft and Qualcomm joint venture). In his current role, Montgomery leads all mobility indirect channels, including business solution distribution, business agency and all Verizon world-class Internet of Things channels. Montgomery has designed and launched several successful channel programs over the course of his career, including the Verizon Partner Program, and was named a 2021 CRN Channel Chief, a leading industry award.

He has spent much of his career developing solutions as varied as end-user awareness programs and advanced malware reverse engineering cohorts. Prior to joining Focal Point Academy, Matt was a cybersecurity solution architect at Global Knowledge.
