PowerMate is the coolest volume knob your computer has ever seen - but it's so much more. You can use it to edit home movies or scroll through long documents or create your next audio masterpiece. How can PowerMate be this cool? Because it's an assignable controller that you can program to do anything you want, in any application. Customize it to your needs and go wild!

Made of high-quality machined aluminum, PowerMate feels like a solid volume knob pulled right off the front of a world-class stereo. Its heavy weight and tactile feel are a welcome departure from typical plastic USB peripherals.

PowerMate functions beautifully as a convenient volume knob and mute button for music listening on your PC or Mac. But that's just the beginning of PowerMate's possibilities. Edit movies just like the pros with PowerMate functioning as your very own Jog/Shuttle wheel. Spin PowerMate to scroll through footage and push the integrated button to cut out unwanted pieces. Use it in audio production to jump from track to track, adjusting volume levels as you go. PowerMate makes editing anything from home movies to your next demo a breeze. It even comes preset to work with iMovie, FinalCut Pro and GarageBand right out of the box!

But the real power of PowerMate is that it's programmable. You can quickly and easily program it to execute any key command, in any application. Program PowerMate to scroll through long Microsoft Word files and save your document when you push its button. Set PowerMate to scrub through songs in sequencers and music apps. Use PowerMate wherever and however you want to make your life easier. Save as many unique settings as you want, PowerMate will remember them all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Windows 10? Seriously, just email me the technical specs and I'll write your USB driver for you for free. I have 20+ years of full stack dev and multiple patents. April 2, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Buggy windows software... Someone here at Griffin OBVIOUSLY has a "case of religion" - that is the ONLY reason I can fathom as to why the windows drivers haven't been updated since 2007. Yea, they work on Win 7, but are unstable. I've had to fix 3 PowerMate software installations in the last 2 days! They just "forget" their configuration and/or the software becomes corrupt (apparently) and must be re-installed. March 31, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by WINDOWS 10...what happened? I love this device and it used to work great on Windows 7, but no Windows 10 support.I am SOOO Bummed out. It's hard to recommend Griffin to a friend when you stop supporting things. March 29, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Powermate Driver Causing a Kernal Panic? I love this device, but it looks like I need to put it back in the drawer until a buggy usb driver for the Mac is updated. I have had several kernel panics and subsequent crashes which the log file blames on USB driver. I have found further tech bulletins to support the fact that the POWERMATE driver looks to be the source of the problems. I don't believe there has been an update for El Capitan (I'm still on Yosemite). March 19, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Time for a windows 10 driver Seriously... add some support for windows 10, or open up the source and the community with do it for you. March 9, 2016

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kind of works on windows 10.... kind of Well built, its a solid device. Sometimes it works on windows but most of the time I have unplug and plug it back in to get the system to recognize it. Windows 10 drivers please. February 7, 2016
