The Sennheiser Communications’ BW900 was developed as a top-quality professional headset solution for every office based user and features the unique Adaptive Intelligence to provide outstanding sound quality.

The BW900 is a multifunctional companion capable of adapting independently and automatically to changes in the sound environment, thus maintaining the perfect level of speech quality. Thanks to the uniquely developed Adaptive Intelligence feature, the headset reacts automatically to changes in the level of ambient noise and adjusts the headset volume accordingly. In addition, the BW900 is capable of learning from the user's preferred settings. It remembers those settings and applies them from then on. Adaptive Intelligence also ensures that the person conversing with the headset user can enjoy optimum speech clarity. Since both parties of the conversation benefit, BW900 is a significant step toward improving the quality of business conversations.

During a conversation, the user is free to walk to the printer, relocate to conference room or access information on the Internet. The BW900 allows the mobile user to do several things simultaneously while moving around freely. The BW900 will maintain outstanding sound quality for a range of up to 100 meters (328 feet) from the included base station.

The Bluetooth interface allows the BW900 to be connected to several devices simultaneously. Whether mobile phones or other types of telephones, such as smartphones and even PC based softphones such as Skype: the BW900 is compatible with all types of speech-based Bluetooth devices. The user need not miss a call. No more juggling several handsets at once: instead, the user-friendly push-button interface lets the user switch seamlessly between landline phones and any other connected, Bluetooth enabled telephones.

Yet another plus for the headset is its discreet design. Due to its balanced and lightweight, the BW900 sits behind the ear. It is fashioned so that the user will barely notice it, making it comfortable enough to wear all day. It can be ergonomically adjusted for a perfect fit on any ear - and even folded to fit into a pocket. The blue-and-charcoal design is unobtrusive, and the small microphone boom restricts neither the user's freedom of movement nor their field of vision.

Maximum Battery Efficiency
The headset itself is designed throughout for maximum battery efficiency. For example, Bluetooth communication requires the most power when you are using the headset far from the base station, but can get by with much less when you are close to it. The headset therefore monitors this distance and provides the Bluetooth circuit only with the power it requires, cutting back the power whenever possible.

Battery Charge Management
The base station features a dedicated microchip that manages the charge process, ensuring both a quick recharge and maximum battery life. The charge-management chip always charges and maintains the battery in a way that ensures maximum life. The base station features a display that tells you when your headset and optional backup battery are charging and fully charged.

Backup Battery for Infinite, Uninterrupted Talk Time
The BW900 base station is able to hold an optional backup battery, where it is kept fully charged and ready for use. You can even “hot swap” to the backup battery without dropping the connection, so your conversation is never interrupted.
