Amplify the strength of your HDMI signal to extend your video source up to 115 ft. over standard HDMI cable. This HDMI signal booster lets you increase the signal strength of your HDMI video source so you can connect an HDMI display up to 115 ft. (35 m) away, using standard HDMI cables. You can place the booster inline between two HDMI cables, up to 82 ft. in length at the video input, and up to 33 ft. in length at the video output.

With its small form factor, the HDMI booster is easy to hide, for a discreet installation. You don't need an external power adapter to operate the signal booster, and it includes mounting hardware, so installing it is hassle-free. By extending your video signal using standard HDMI cables, the HDMI booster is a cost-effective alternative to more expensive HDMI extension systems that require the installation of CAT5 or CAT6 cabling infrastructure.

The HDMI booster features an equalization switch with ten different levels. The equalization switch lets you adjust the amplification of your HDMI signal based on the distance of your cables, so that you can ensure your HDMI signal will be perfect even at distances up to 115 ft. (35 m). The booster is perfect for boardrooms, offices or classrooms that may require varying distances depending on the room size.

When extending HDMI over long distances using standard video cabling, higher resolutions can become unavailable. Using the HDMI signal booster ensures that you'll still be able to depend on high-definition resolutions up to 1080p at 60Hz.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boosted Raspberry PIs through my KVM A while back I bought a KVM for my various systems and several Raspberry PIs. The HDMI didn't work for the PIs. I thought it was a problem with the KVM. I saw online that someone suggested boosting the HDMI signal, so I bought this. I plugged it in between the monitor and KVM and it did the trick. All my PIs now have HDMI. I didn't need the 5v power supply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works For Powered HDMI Sources BUYER BEWARE: While this is an active HDMI signal booster, it does not actually come with a power adapter, so it acts as a passive booster. What does that mean? Well, if you have newer computers with full-sized HDMI ports and only need to extend your HDMI cabling up to a maximum of 30 ft. (total of both ends combined), it will work just fine as is. Run the 'Input' HDMI to your computer and the 'Output' to your monitor/TV. However, many older HDMI ports are not powered or under-powered. For those you will need a 5v DC adapter. Furthermore, this greatly relies on length. To amplify to the maximum advertised 115 ft., you will also need an adapter. Another thing to be aware of: This guy is very sensitive to voltage and has absolutely zero overvoltage protection. One of our techs blew out the amp by plugging in a 12v DC adapter by accident. I mention this specifically because 12v adapters are the most commonly found of this type, so be careful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product works as well designed I am using a 50ft HDMI extension: source-50ft cord-booster-8ft cord. At first no signal would come though. When I added the booster, the signal worked but would drop intermittently. So I added the power adapter and everything works fine.
