Rated 5 out of 5 byG from Prints regular print like a letter fine, but needs settings changes below for greysI also hate this printer but I have figured out how to at least get non-black tones to be visible on your print (such as when you are printing a web page or jpg). Open the "Printer Properties" dialogue. Then open "Color/Quality" . Then go to the Brightness box and reduce it to -30 (MINUS 30). This produces at least a print that shows the greys, but the quality is still poor.

Rated 5 out of 5 byKAE from It is a Jamming ProductIt is a bad Jam paper printer, it always jam the paper, even if i want to print 30 pages i must open and close the toner area several times just to avoid jammingyou have to adjust paper positions in a very bad plastic tray, the plastic is very weak and not easy to adjust or align paper through.I strongly dis recommend this printer

Rated 5 out of 5 byBanKuSSi from Disappointing Product !!! Life cycle of 2 years.Very slow printing, jams a lot. The scanner feeder doesn't work properly. After two year of home use (minimal) HSINC ERROR has occurred and the whole thing is pretty useless.

Rated 5 out of 5 byPoins from Not the usual reliable Xerox product.Ever since our company received the 3100MFP we had nothing but problems with it. The machine was very slow and almost immediately stopped it's copy function. It came to the point where all we used it for was as a fax machine until that too stopped working and the machine had to be replaced.I like Xerox products and have nothing, but nice things to say about most of them. This was just wasn't up to the usual standards.

Rated 5 out of 5 byUNHAPPYWITHXEROX235 from This printer is rubbish.We bought this printer for our company because it was supposed to be one of the best.However...The paper jams all the time, the printer-output tray is too small, the papers fall out when it prints, the ink toners are FAR too expensive and difficult to get hold of. Also another down is that this printer cannot fax or scan double sided pages.THIS PRINTER IS RUBBISH!!I would not recommend this printer to my most hated enemy.

Rated 5 out of 5 byagshep from Terrible, I regret my purchaseThe paper jams are incessant and made more unpleasant by the infernal beeping for the jam, the door open, other door open, the flake of paper left behind, the door closed but the papertray still open, etc, etc.The printer kills paper whether it's expensive stuff or cheap 80gsm paper and incidents are unrelated to humidity.In addition, the printer sleeps deeply and needs disconnected, the reconnected.The cartridges are non-refillable. That's annoying and expensive- a refilled cartridge isn't going to break your printer Xerox, I am.At least it still scans one sheet at a time, I gave up on multiples after recurrent multigrabs.Unlikely to buy Xerox again.

Rated 5 out of 5 byCrazy White Woman from Phaser 3100It is too complicated to use. I replaced cartridge and had to insert a chip only to find there was nothing wrong with the old cartridge. I still until nowcant get it to print black. I only get grey.So feeling really stupid now.Bought a Lexmark ink jet and it works well while this printer has become a white elephant.
