Product Reviews
Webroot SecureAnywhere Business - Endpoint Protection - subscription licens is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Results to Date We've been using Webroot for a few months now. We tested it for almost 30 days before purchasing and had only minor issues that Webroot support was able to quickly address. The problem is that Webroot is more difficult to configure to completely ignore some directories and processes. Our ERP software has issues if there files are scanned each time we write to them. So, I built some Exclude rules in Webroot for those specific directories. However, this caused issues too because Webroot apparently writes a log record each time one of those files is accessed and written to that states it was read and ignored because it is on an exclude rule. This logging was so intense it was causing long pauses for all our ERP users. I'm still working on this issue with Webroot support, but no great breakthroughs yet. The odd thing is that we didn't see these problems during our 30 day trial. So, depending on your use case, Webroot may be great. Ours has just had some extra hiccups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Support, Easy setup and Management We have used several different types of anti-virus solutions ranging from Nod 32, Kaspersky, BitDefender, and Norton. Webroot Endpoint has been easy to deploy in all our work environments (Were an MSP so many different customer locations and groups, and different policy's for each). When we did have problems, or configuration questions, Heck even just questions about there software and how to manage some policies, we have always gotten a fast and helpful response. When calling on the phone i get a live person within 3 minutes.Having tried to call several other AV places for support, Webroot endpoint has been by far the best to work with!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from first look My only issues so far are from purchasing, I tried to add more but got l pricing much higher than original through my reseller, even though I was trying to add to the same keycode. Also reseller having trouble after an order placed to do the same thing, pricing was the same, but no delivery of the new seats to my account.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Please improve Apple / OSX support OSX support is improving however it feels like it's not quite there yet. eg. PUAs in Time Machine, which are detected but unable to be removed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AV Replacement with Webroot We recently gave our old, mainstream AV software the heave-ho. Hard to administer and seemingly ineffective.Webroot, by comparison, installed fast! And for a few clients, immediately identified and destroyed several bits of malware that had been hiding under the previous' AV software's skirts. The web interface for SecureAnywhere is easy to use, and setting up a Policy (or policies), and assigning to different Groups is relatively simple. We are about 94% done with our AV deployment, and so far, this has been one of the easiest AV software installs for the company. Easily pushed out by PDQ Deploy, with a link to our SecureAnywhere portal, so all that is needed is to move the target PC out of the Default Group.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big Time Saver As an MSP we test Cyber Security products constantly. We've been using and recommending a competitive product for over 15 years andWebroot was the first to beat it. Webroot scans are much faster with little or no slowdown or impact on running applications. In the last few months Webroot has detected a couple more threats (and easily removed them), and blocked several more website threats, compared to what we previously considered the Gold Standard. Two years ago we tested Webroot and discounted it as too complex and incomplete. However, this is no longer the case entirely. Deployment is easy after you learn how, setup provides a lot of options that are not intuitive or well organized and certainly should be cleaned up (examples, and quick 1,2,3... wizards embedded). Bottom line we find Webroot to be best of breed at this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grateful With Webroot I have a higher level of confidence about security than with any other product on the market!
