Urban Armor Gear Monarch Series is built with quality materials consisting of 5 protective layers. Starting with UAG's signature armor frame and shock-resistant core, layered with top-grain leather, a polycarbonate shear plate, and alloy metal hardware - all wrapped in impact-resistant rubber. Monarch cases feature upgraded side grips with honeycomb traction designed to provide a firmer grip, as well as oversized tactile buttons for precise use. The design of the camera opening provides a glare-free flash, ensuring that the case doesn't interfere with the quest for flawless photos.

All of the buttons are easily used with the case on, and I was able to fit a screen protector with no issue. No obstructions to the camera or speakers or charging port. Feels good in my hand, good grip. Doesn’t slide or slip when placed on a flat surface. Also works fine with my wireless charger. The Monarch series is secure, attractive, and lightweight. It’s a great match for the iPhone X and preserves the look and feel of the phone. Bought one for my wife’s 8 Plus and she loves it too. Company was very responsive in answering my questions, and I had the case in hand before the phone, Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the look and feel! This is my favorite case I've found so far. Love the look of the case and it feels great in the hand. I'm pretty careful with my phone so I'm not sure how durable it is but it feels like it would take a decent drop. The carbon fiber looks amazing too. The only issue I have with the case is the bottom of the case by the charging port and speaker is sort of loose fitting and I'm hoping it doesn't get stretched out.

I would highly recommend this color if any of you are unsure about which color to go for. I think it's very special that you can only get this color for the iPhone X and I feel like because Carbon Fiber is such a rare and special material that anyone should consider this particular color.

Just picked up mine at Best Buy and I can’t be more happier with it.. love the honeycomb grip on the sides and love how easy it is to push the side buttons.. in other cases you have to push so hard to turn off/on the phone or put the volume up or down..construction of the case is superb.. great job UAG!!

I still didn't open the box because I'm waiting for the iphone X to be released in my country. The case looks great inside the box! The black color makes it look luxury. The shipping was very fast and as always the packaging was outstanding. Typical UAG packaging which makes for a very satisfying unboxing experience. The case looks amazing, the monarch series is without a doubt my favorite case. The carbon fiber on this case looks really stylish and I can’t wait to get my phone in so I can start using it. I’ll do a updated review once I get the phone in and I can start using it.
