Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price & great features I needed to replace the multi-outlet unit that was going bad and this TouchMaster was the exact size to fit into the "Cubby Hole" in my computer desk and an added bonus it has surge protection for my equipment! The Always On outlet is another great item. My desk light is plugged into it (we do not use a fax machine). The only thing I can think of as a down side is that it is not also available in white, but nothing that I need as it is out of site except for the front panel. The price is reasonable for all the features it has. I am looking forward to many years of use from it.

It fits nicely under the monitor, saving lots of space. It has great features including all the outlets needed for computer equipment (i.e. printer and monitor) plus 2 extra outlets for auxiliary equipment. It has a special port for phone (modem) protection. It provides sleep insurance with its surge protection, faulty wire protection and more. Great product and well worth the moderate price

My main use is having the ability to turn my computer and peripherals all on at the same time with the ability to individually turn on or off the peripherals. I hope never to test how good the surge protection is but it's peace of mind knowing it's there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Product, low profile, and solid! This is kind of a no brainer product; you plug it in and you use it. And it works great. The only downside is that most of the things I want to plug in to the back have big DC supply boxes mounted to the plug that overlap the next outlet. Thus, I could not use the ports as labeled but had to use end slots for some items. I will work around this problem by using 8" extension cords. Since I suspect this to be a recurring problem with other users, I'd like to suggest that two or three 4" to 8" extension cords be included with the unit. That should add at most $0.75 to the cost when the extension cords are ordered in volume.

Of course, electrical grid here does not produce much stress (no thunderstorms, no snow or ice) but it is good to know that if anything does happen, my stuff should be protected. Nice black finish. Only thing that bothers me is the RED 'Wiring Status' light. Is there something wrong? Does not appear so as 'Surge Protected' is green and everything works fine. Overall, I am satisfied. Of course, ask me again in 10 years.

If the outlets were upside down, I wouldn't have to use liberators and could plug the bricks into the outlets directly. I also think the outlets need spread out more to accommodate power bricks.

It replaced an "In the cabinet" switchable outlet that came with an oak computer hutch we bought years ago. I didn't think I would be able to replace it with anything, until I stumbled upon it through an online retailers site. The measurements were perfect, and, it looks better than the original, and, it has surge protection which the other one didn't have. This outlet should have come as original equipment with the comport hutch!! I am totally happy and satisfied!! I can individually turn on and off my printer, speakers, and external hard drives!! Excellent product!!

I use 2 of these for external drives. Push a button and the drive come on, push it again it goes off. I have 7 external drives of various file types and each drive only carries one file type. Tried building a device, but after power plugs and switches, was way to balky and these units are just what the doctor ordered. Just ordered a 3rd as am expanding some. GREAT PRODUCT !!!

There is also an extra outlet that can be used for a cell phone charger, etc. This product is built to last. Very pleased with this product. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, but outlets too close together I like that my monitor can sit on top of this surge protector which raises the monitor up a bit. Even though 6 outlets is enough, my 6 plugs do not all fit, in part because of the shape and size of the plugs and in part because the outlets are too close together. I've had to buy and additional surge protector for the plugs that do not fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought to fit into cabinet I am replacing a defective Tripplite TMC6 surge protector with another TMC6. The buttons no longer worked. Even though this product has a lifetime warranty the company doesn't give you any help. The only reason I am getting another one is that it fits into my cabinet the same way as the other one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really would buy this product again. Very well engineered. Has 1 outlet always on. The computer is wired to the master button. Good cable length. Buttons have lights under the button to indicate active. 2 indicators for showing plug ground on wall and surge protection is active.

Best purchase I made, since the one I had before was worn out. (to old and brittle) this Product Works great, I like the Easy access Buttons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, great protection. We need a surge protector for our desktop computer because the one we were using didn't work any longer. We were lucky to find the Tripp=Lite touchmster 6 outlet under monitor surge protector. This protector was easy to hook up and it works very well. It is a little more expensive than a lot of surge protectors but for the convenience and quality that you get it is well worth a little extra money. And it has a lifetime guarantee which makes it even a better value.This is a great product. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I do not feel that any product is perfect, but it is darn close.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long term customer, loves his controls. I have a large amount of equipment that needs to be on when it's needed. The Touchmaster is perfect for that need. Just depress the button to turn what I am going to use and then off to conserve electric. I have been using these for almost 20 years and will not settle for anything less. Now if they could create a rack for them, I would be endlessly happy.
