Peace of mind and good support
I'm in a rural area where outages and surges are common. I've lost electronic equipment or had it damaged, in part because I trusted relatively inexpensive uninsured surge protectors. Finally I have a surge protector I am convinced I can trust (because of reputation and insurance), and when I had a several questions (about connecting a modem/router's coax cable to it, how I might use or not use the ethernet jacks, etc.), I got support on the phone very fast and my questions were answered clearly and thoroughly.
The design of this model works great for me, as it accommodates individual plugs along one side, while the opposite side has outlets spaced to accommodate different size and shape transformer plugs. Unused outlets on the protector can be closed, to keep dust and bugs out (an issue in my rural parts). The overall build of this surge protector is high quality. The first time I used each outlet I had to use a bit of effort to seat plug prongs, but after that the outlets feel "just right" snug, not too tight and not remotely loose. Very happy I bought this protector.

Reduce cable clutter AND protect your devices
I bought this for three reasons: 1) reliability in a thunderstorm, 2) number of protected outlets on this device and 3) the company Reputation. AND I replaced 2 other "power strips", which basically are just giant fuses in case of a lightning strike; this device not only Protects my devices, but also allowed me to reorganize all my cabling behind my desk. Iʻm a support person, and dust bunnies and a spaghetti tangle behind and under my desk is just not acceptable. (I keep my desk 24 inches from the wall!! For convenience of access!) The addition of TEL/Modem/coaxe/ethernet ports is a vast improvement on any other device out there in this genre. The sliding covers over the 110v ports is a very GOOD addition in a dusty atmosphere in Southwest Texas, where I reside.

I've bought 8 and recommed it to all my Friends & Family
I actually have about 8 of these Tripp-lite 12 Outlet Surge Protectors through out my house. I've decided to replace al my old Surge Protectors with this quality Surge Protector. Now I've had a couple of surges during bad storms and everytime it has done its job. I may find all my stuff not working but that's because it flipped the switch and protected my electronics. I just flip it back on and everything is working again. Not only that but it will protect your cable boxes through coaxial and your phone and internet lines as well.
My biggest complaint and the reason it's getting 4/5 Stars is because if you have any internet speed over 100mbps then you won't want to use the Ethernet protection as that will bottleneck and limit your speed. I wish they would update it so it could take Gigabit internet. That is starting to become the norm in most places.
Finally the insurance claim that they will replace all your stuff up to, I think it's $100,000 if there Surge Protector fails to do its job is great and I hope I never have to use it.

Simply the best!
Won't know how well it works until it is subject to a hit, but I am really happy with the quality of the unit. In addition, I don't notice any degradation of signal bandwidth. My TV and cable modem are working with no issues whatsoever.

Good Features and Protection Rating
This strip is well-designed, with outlets spaced on one side for irritating power bricks, coaxial protection, RJ45 protection, and a decent voltage protection rating (which is what really matters in the event of a surge). It also has holes that let you mount it to a wall, or, in my case, the underside of a desk.

Loving this surge protector
I set this up to connect our new TV & sound bar along with a stereo system and other things. We needed more outlets than we had available. This surge protector provided more than enough outlets and allowed the dvr box to be protected via the coax ports as well as via the power. So far no issues.

Love how versatile this surge protector is.
This Surge protector work great it hasn't been put through the test just yet but it does provide peace of mind knowing it's ready to go in case there is a surge. It's also very versatile with coaxial connections, Rj11 (not that I use but do see others with land lines using) and RJ45 ports making it that much better than i was expecting. I will most likely buy more surge protectors to replace those I believe to be unreliable in my home. Also love that it comes with extra wires that offset the me having to buy extra wire to connect everything properly.

Use it for home theater system. I also run my internet through it as well using the coax in/out. Has plenty of room for 3-4 9v dc adapter style plugs (router, modem, other random devices). It's awesome.

This is one of the best surge protectors I could find because of the way the plugs are set up, the warranty, and the level of protection. Just missing USB ports. I got this for a work from home and gaming workstation set up.

Very high value in comparison to the specs
Considering the features on this surge protector, it's pretty good and would buy more in future when needed. I wish it would have a higher surge protection (higher joules) but that's fine considering that I will attach the AVR on it. I attached it to the Internet modem to protect it from surges and the internet speed didn't slow down at all, meaning it's compatible. I have Xfinity so hopefully this works on other Xfinity locations. The only problem is that the output modem connector on the surge protector is so short that the cable doesn't attach well and can fall off easily :(

I Only Purchase Tripp-Lite Surge Protectors
I bought two of these surge protectors, one for a computer system and one for a home theater system. I have purchased Tripp-Lite surge protectors in the past, so the selection of this product was an easy decision. The surge protectors work as expected. I would prefer it if the sockets were a little further apart and if the sockets were not so tight, but this is still a five star product.

Question regarding the "grounded red light"
Have purchased two (2) of this item. On one (1) of the items the "grounded red light" is much dimmer than the other one and actually dims further when the items plugged into it are turned on. Is this an issue I need to address?

I use this for my home theatre system. like that it has 12 outlets. I needed the coax input. my last one didn't have this and lightning fried my satellite receiver and HDMI input on my TV. I checked the reviews and this one was at the top of all the lists. I would recommend this highly.

I got this product because a lot of my outlets do not have proper grounding, just neutral and hot. This device gives me at least some piece of mind. The coax ports work with MoCA as well which is the best feature. Peace of mind knowing my expensive MoCA adapters are safe as well.

I use the surge protector to power my computer, internet, monitor and heart monitoring equipment. The 12 outlets are arranged perfectly for my needs. It was easily mounted using the mounting holes on the rear of the protector. The cord is super long which was perfect for the location of the install.
