Have never had a problem
This is my second Tripp Lite surge supressor, the first was an isotel 4ultra it lasted 17 years until the switch wore out. I was using it as an on/off switch for my computer since the one on the case only lasted two years. I look forward to my new one lasting even longer. I would highly recomend Tripp Lite surge suppressors. I plan to buy another one when I upgrade my television.

This device was purchased as a surge protector for the power plug in device used to recharge a Ford CMax Energi. This device worked well for the first
4 months, but started to auto shut down [for no visible reason] and would then restrict the battery charging capability of the charger on the vehicle. The Tripplite was removed and the car started recharging as necessary. The charger on the vehicle is a simple 110V device.

Highly recommended for music studios
I have two of these surge protectors in my studio to protect a variety of music equipment. The Tripp-Lite surge protectors are in my opinion the best and most robust you can get within the price range. They are easy to mount on the wall using a piece of paper to make a template of the mounting holes on the metal housing of the protector. The plugs are 90 degree angle plugs (like a fridge uses) all

A rugged and reliaible surge protector.
My TRIPPLITE 6-outlet surge protector of at least ten years was exhibiting a subtle buzzing sound. I contacted TRIPPLITE and instead of offering a repair they sent me a new unit (and latest version) of that model. I'm very happy with the product and even happier with the TRIPPLITE service.

Isobar 6-Outlet Surge Protector, great buy.
Specs for the unit are very good. Meets UL 1449 3rd edition, a must. Well worth its' price. Receptacles have great contact holding pressure. Enclosure is made from aluminum, not steel, a plus.
I use the Isobar 6 outlet surge protector to power a home theater system. I found it does require a little break-in/burn-in time. Picture quality on a Sony 65X950G TV was slightly degraded at first when first connected it to the Isobar. After about eight hours of use the picture quality improved and actually became better than when the Sony was plugged into the power strip I was previously using. (Just a guess the filter units require break-in/burn-in time.)
Cons? The on/off power switch needs a raised shoulder around it to prevent accidentally turning off the switch when plugging in or unplugging a power cord from the unit.

I use this surge protector in my Ham shack to protect all my radio equipment. I have 100% confidence in Tripp Lite. In have owned a 7 amp power supply from them for over 15 years and it still provides power for my UHF radio.

Research guided me to Tripp Lite
After suffering a loss of several pieces of electronics during a recent thunderstorm despite them being plugged into a UPS/ surge protector, I started doing hours of research on surge protectors. I soon noticed that many electricians, electronics technicians, etc. kept mentioning Tripp Lite. I soon ended up on their website, looked around, and then went on Amazon to read more reviews. I ended up ordering a Tripp Lite ISOBAR6ULTRA 6 outlet surge protector. When I received it days later, I was so impressed with it that I turned right around and ordered two Tripp Lite ISOBAR8ULTRA 8 outlet surge protectors on Amazon. As soon as I can afford it, I intend to buy one or two more. I am confident that these surge protectors will perform as expected. Today, I wrote a long post on my local Facebook group detailing my research and why I recommend Tripp Lite surge protectors (and which ones I purchased). We have been going through a lot of severe storms with lightning lately, with power outages and power blips. I received a lot of thanks for my post and recommendations. I feel quite fortunate to have found Tripp Lite and no longer have to suffer with the garden variety worthless surge protectors.

Great improvement over the usual hardware store products
I use this surge protector to protect the expensive computer equipment in my home office. I've gone through several brand-name power strips made of primarily plastic and cheap internal electronics. They have all failed in one way or another. I decided to try this product because the case is metal, the electronics are supposed to be more robust, and the outlets don't have those slide covers. The product seems exceptionally well made and no problems so far. I also like the status indicators that tell me the protection circuit is still working. I'm telling all my friends and co-workers to consider this product for their home office.

Great protection and warranty
This protector was a replacement under the great warranty from TrippLite. The former one gave it's life for all my computer gear in a bad power surge situation. But it did its job and nothing was damaged except the protector.

This is the third or fourth Tripp-lite isobar unit that I have bought for my own use. Solid unit, all the right features. Couldn't even guess how many of these we've deployed over the years - somewhere in the Tripp-le digits, I'm sure... ;-) Anyway, no complaints: reliable and consistent performance. Have only had one or two develop issues (not bad for 10+ years), and Tripp Lite stood behind their product replacing it with an even better model.

This is a battery worth purchasing.

I have 3 of these surge protectors: one on a home office feeding 2 printers, a desk lamp, a shredder and sound speakers. Another one on a fish tank setup connecting light, water filter, UV filter and a wine cooler; and the other is in my garage feeding an auxiliary fridge and an horizontal freezer, along with a garage vacuum that gets plugged there sometimes and battery charger. Since we're using this products, every time the printer starts or the fridge's compressor runs, we don't see the house lights flicker or the circuit breakers jumping.
I started with one and bought more once I observed their performance.
I have a single point that I would like changed on this models. The fact that the sockets are so close to each other limits the use of bigger power plugs or products with power converters without wasting a plug. Other than that, I'll keep using these.

My first Tripp Lite surge protector
Bought this surge protector after doing much research. Use it to protect my UHD TV and two subwoofers. Tripp Lite will be my go product for any surge protection I may need in the future.

Tripp-lites the best
I have 12 over these suppressors In may shop and computer room. They work great and a great job for my computers and all the electronics that I have. will not buy any thing but Tripp-Lite suppressors.

Prestigious Brand - Network reliability
I think Tripplite is a great brand for surge protection , when I was doing all the structured media in my newly constructed "smart home " , I wouldn't use anything but Tripp lite in my data panel. Solid metal and professional construction , not to mention the insurance offered with the product. I haven't had any problems with any of my products but I hear the customer service is outstanding. Will defiantly buy again .
