Tripp Lite P137-06N-VGA converts a Displayport video out port on a PC to VGA, allowing attachment of a VGA monitor. Plug the adapter into the computer, and then a standard VGA cable from the adapter to the monitor. Supports video resolutions up to 1920X1200 @ 60Hz, and is HDCP compliant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Constantly failing -- have thrown away hundreds At first we thought our computers were going to "Sleep" and not waking up. Requiring a "Power Cycle". Then, we realized if we un-plug the Tripp-lite Displayport to VGA adapter, and plug it back in, we had our computer back. Startech and C2G have been the most reliable adapters, so far. We will no longer procure Tripp-Lite products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to more expensive adapters. We use 2 - 3 monitors on nearly every computer. We started using C2G adapters and had to replace most of those within a year. So we switched to HP, but their price kept going up. So we tried the Tripp Lite adapter. Have been using them for almost a year, probably have 75 in use at this point and zero failures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never had an issue Never had an issue with any of these adapters and I've purchased hundreds for our new HP T620 thin clients. I've also used them on the older versions of thin clients, but the connection may be a little loose compared with the newer models.

The docking stations we're issued are all new with only DP and HDMI ports but getting a new monitor is a headache. These adapters are lifesavers for keeping that legacy tech going

It only lasts a few minutes, but I am not sure how long it is going to hold out. I'll eventually return it. I have just been too busy. Tripp Lite is usually a good product!
