The standby INTERNET900U UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise that can damage valuable electronics or destroy data. The 12-outlet 120V battery backup is ideal protection for your home office, media center or commerce components, including computers, routers, printers, NAS drives, HDTVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles, media players, DVRs and audio receivers.
Backup support allows you to work through short power failures and gives you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Backup time varies according to load, but the INTERNET900U should keep an energy-efficient desktop computer with small LCD monitor powered as long as 41 minutes. During normal operation, incoming utility power keeps the replaceable internal battery fully charged, so backup power will always be available.
Six 5-15R outlets provide battery backup and surge protection for your computer, monitor and other crucial components. The other six 5-15R outlets provide surge suppression only for printers, speakers and other desktop equipment regarded as non-essential during a blackout.
By meeting strict EPA efficiency guidelines, this ENERGY STAR-certified UPS system helps you save money and energy. A high >98% line mode efficiency rating reduces BTU emissions, energy consumption and, ultimately, your energy costs.

I refer Tripp Lite to my friends often since buying the UPS.
Northern California resident dealing with lots of power outs from the power company PG&E. Often on a generator. Got it to protect my equipment incase of an outage and have a single connection to the generator. It cleanly powers my audio system, led tv, led lights, and a couple other devices. No high pitched whining from the unit like some surge protectors do. Not crazy heavy or cumbersome. 10/10 product.

I use this for an entertainment system. Due to the number of devices, I need both a surge protector and a battery backup with the space to handle everything. NOTHING else on the market offers that.
Coupled with the Real World Guarantee that Tripp-Lite offers (that other only allude to), this makes this Tripp-Lite not only the best choice, but pretty much the only choice!

Easy installation and so far so good
I just purchased and installed this product. The installation was as easy as it gets. I feel more at ease knowing that my PC is now plugged into a UPS. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that I do not know how this will perform in an actual power outage. If that happens, and this product performs as I expect it will, I will gladly revisit this review.

Using it to prevent satellite tv box from resetting every time there is a power glitch. Box itself works, but the software to disable the alarm doesn't work and you have not helped me fix it.

After 8 years I had to replace one of my dependable Tripp-lites that protectes my desktop PC's. I was pleased to see the upgrades such as a USB option for my laptop and other products. LIght weight for how much protection
I like the room between each outlet. Makes it easy to plug in larger adaptors.
Hooked it up to the PC and it was easily detected in Windows 8.1.
I wish that I didn't need a screwdriver for battery replacement.

Fatal flaw for home use
The other reviewers here are all companies, but there's one fatal flaw for this unit for home use. It works fine for its main function, but there's one thing it does that it shouldn't... Beep... Forever... Unceasingly. There's no way to turn it off. I even tried to use the digital interface to modify the settings, but couldn't get it to go away.
So if you have it any where near your bedroom, or really anywhere within earshot, it will wake you up or drive you crazy.
With a mute button, this would be a great unit, without it, it's maddening.

Very reliable product
I have been using this product for over 1 1/2 years and it has worked flawlessly. Living in Florida we have may lightening strikes and power is known to brownout or go out altogether. Needless to say this Tripp Lite has saved me from some expensive repairs and or replacements. When the life on this one is over I will be back to replace it with another Tripp Lite that's for sure. It seemed like it would not automatically come out of backup mode when the power was restored. A human had to push a switch. So it just ran out of power which defeated the whole purpose. Oh and the battery died after only a year...

We bought this UPS for a small circuit that has electronics that are really sensitive to voltage fluctuations. El primer equipo que compré hace ya 35 años, fue un regulador de voltaje; sigue funcionando y tengo la certeza que el voltaje de salida es siempre el correcto. Todos los electrodomésticos de mi domicilio y la oficina operan con reguladores Tripp Lite. Compré en fecha reciente un UPS para ser instalado en la pared; su calidad es inmejorable.

I would recommend this unit as a backup unit.
The product is nice for the number of plus that it has both on backup and surge. The only complaint I have is that the mounting holes in the back are desinged for it to be monted vertily. The mounting slots should be mad that you can mount the unit both vertily or horizontal. The slots should be in an L or X design.
I haven't had a reason to test the backup (no power failure yet). Just have computer monitor and modem/WyFi on it.

Annoying beeping alarm.
I don't like the unit, it's beeps when it's running on the batteries. it's annoying!

Nice drop-in replacement for battery-killing UPS
I bought this to replace an otherwise similar UPS from a different brand because I was sick of the other UPS wearing out my batteries. I'm looking forward to the battery lasting much longer now that I have a line-interactive UPS. Best thing about this UPS: the wall-mount holes on the back are _exactly the same distance apart_ as they were on the other UPS, so I didn't have to take out one of the old screws and put in a new one. that _can't_ be a coincidence, can it?

Heavy but great and durable
The only thing I have to say that is negative about this is that it is very heavy, but being a battery, I expect that. I like how it has a nice long cord, and the buzzer for when power is cut is loud enough that you can definitely hear it and act before losing power to your devices and computers. I really like this product, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality battery back up surge protector.

Adequate for need but shorter run time.
Product arrived as expected, easy to register the warranty online. Charged fully for 2 days then did a capacity test. All worked fine except at a 240w draw, unit only lasted 5 minutes 10 seconds before shutting down. Included paperwork said 40+ minutes at 50% capacity. Battery may last longer after it's used a few times. Unit should work fine for my needs, just need to make sure the computer is shut down right away, no waiting to see if power is going to come back on. Have had good luck with TrippLite previously so that's why I purchased again.

Working Great, Even had a power outage
This is used to provide even power to my Internet Modem, Router, Network Attached Storage and Video Doorbell.
We already had a short power outage, less than five minutes, and all the equipment plugged into this unit stayed up and running. We were experiencing other internet outages and I'm wondering if my old power supply was not working correctly and causing the drops. We have had solid internet since installing the Tripp-Lite.

I haven't had a power outage yet
but it does keeps my desktop computer running when I pull the plug
I was unable to get the PowerAlert software to work on my ASRock Z690PG motherboard. The PowerAlertAgent service will not start.
Tripplite support did not respond to my last email that said all the suggestions they offered did not work.

Tripp-Lite - the best and safest component to have!
This Tripp-Lite component is just one of many that I use on a daily basis here in my Recording Studio, my live rehearsal venues, and in my personal computer setups.
Tripp-Lite components are key to saving your studio projects or anything on your computers in all environments. There have been instances of unannounced power outages as well as the voltage spikes from many sources, some even naturally caused.
I highly, highly recommend to anyone to have a few of these Tripp-Lite components installed and in use daily. Definitely a project saver!
