Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and roomy messenger bag I recently got the Targus 15.5” bag since travel is ramping up again. It is all one could ask for in a messenger bag. It comes with a long detachable strap as well as a comfortable padded rubber handle. The main zippered compartment is plenty roomy for a large laptop and has a Velcro strap to hold your laptop in place. There is another zippered compartment that is almost as large as the main one. You could use that for all your accessories or even a 12” laptop would fit in there. There are also two small pockets for memory cards and small items, a few pens holders and a large velcroed pocked on the back. The latched flap has some padding in it. This large bag has everything you could ask for in a laptop bag.

It has a carrying handle on the top and carrying strap included. It is really nice. I love it and you will too ;^

I do a lot of work from home but I also have to meet clients in their homes or in gyms. This bag has held up on all of my work adventures. It has two main pockets that fit my laptop, charger, files, notebooks, etc. As well as places to put my pens, business cards and notecards. The back pocket is perfect for paperwork that I need to to get to quickly. I definitely recommend!

It has a clasp that keeps the top flap closed, and the pocket for the laptop is a little more padded than the front pocket. The back pocket under the flap has a zipper and a piece of velcro, it keeps my laptop from sliding out. There's a pocket on the back of the bag closes with velcro, and has plenty of room, and there is a media storage, pen loops and small accessory compartments. It has a rubber easy grab handle, on top and a shoulder strap, with a hard rubber piece that rests on the shoulder, I think it needs a little more padding. The shoulder strap clasps are a heavy plastic, not metal, but are sturdy. The shoulder strap needs a little more cushion, but the pockets stretch out, and everything I need fits in the bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good basic messenger bag I got the Targus - 15.6" Messenger Laptop Case to protect my work computer on my commute to and from work. It is a good basic bag. The actual measurements are 16.25x3.5x14.25. It features a padded zippered computer pouch, a zippered document pouch (which is lightly padded), a Velcro pouch on the back, 4 pen sleeves, and two pockets which could hold a power bank/smart phone. The bag has a plastic clip to keep it closed. The bag comes with a simple shoulder strap. Nothing fancy here just a simple black computer bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Carry My 15" laptop fits in this Targus 15.6 Messenger Laptop Case perfectly (with a little room to spare). There seems to be plenty of padding around all sides to keep my laptop protected, yet it's not overly bulky. I like that the messenger case has a handle at the top as well as a detachable strap so I am not limited to only carrying the bag one way. There's a separate compartment in front as well as plenty of pockets for pens and other smaller things like a cellphone or calculator. I appreciate that this messenger laptop bag includes a limited lifetime warranty. I appreciate that Targus is willing to stand behind the quality of their products.

I like that it has a back pocket, a front pocket and a few inside pockets. It looks and feels very strong and professional. It is easy to carry around using the straps or with the handle. I would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size! I am so happy that my new Targus messenger laptop case just came. My old bag has seen its day and wasn't doing the job any longer. My new targus bag is the perfect size, it is rigid enough to stand up by itself and has many compartments for storage. Many of the bags offered by other companies are just too big to take onto a plane or at least not very convienient. I will be able to load this bag up and still be able to fit it under my seat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smaller Than Expected The Targus messenger bag is a well constructed bag but has limited space for anything over than a laptop and a charger cord. Adding anything else to the bag - portfolio, writing pads, etc. - make the bag difficult to close. While we genuinely like the bag, we would be a fan of it if the bag just was able to accommodate more than a laptop.

There are three inside compartments two with zippers to keep your belongings safe from spilling out. The other is Velcro. There is also a compartment on the back side that has a Velcro closers. On the inside it has pen holders and two other compartment for smaller items.

Basic black, not too bulky or heavy. Perfect for work use or for vacation and travel. Seams are well sewn and they is a strap that makes carrying easy.

Everyone in my family has a laptop and we are constantly on the run so bringing it in the bag not only makes it easier it also provides protection. The shoulder strap is comfortable and can be adjusted.

The features are very practical for holding items like documents and paper, pens, wallet, etc. I wish there could be a few more features such as: a water bottle holder on the outside, a keychain for easy finding of the keys, a few small pockets for separating items. e.g. eye glasses, phone...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Design changes not to my liking I owned a previous version of this laptop case for close to 10 years. It was the perfect size and durable to say the least. I was thrilled to see that Targus still made the case! I was very disappointed however when I received my new case. The handle, now smaller and thinner, does not seem as strong. I liked that my previous case's handle fit my hand well and I did worry that it would break. This holds my laptop after all! I now make sure I use the strap when carrying my laptop in this case. This version of the laptop case no longer has a zippered back compartment. I liked the zippered pocket made sure items I needed quick access to were secure. I still like the case but my favorite features are now gone which was disappointing.

There e is a separate area to pu open/pencils. The strap is adjustable. Overall the bag is good for anyone looking for a bag you can just grab and go. The only thing I would question are th connections on the bag. The plastic seems pretty flimsy and only time will tell if it stands up.

I like how it has a zipper and a flap that covers my things so when it rains I’m not too worried about my stuff getting wet. It has enough compartments for all my things that I need for work. I’m loving the simple basic design it offers, highly recommended if someone is looking for something simple and does its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty of storage, roomy laptop compartment This bag's simple, utilitarian design gets the job done with it's multiple zippered pockets and roomy space for my 15.6" laptop. The adjustable strap on the front flap is handy when you need to overstuff the front pocket with cords and accessories, but I'm a pretty basic guy when it comes to transporting my computer. I like having just the essentials with me, some USB Flash Drives, ink pens, writing tablets, and my power cord. Occasionally, I pack a USB mouse if I plan to do a lot of work and need a desktop experience. This bag can certainly handle that and more. The adjustable strap does have one problem in my opinion and that’s that it is too long and hangs off of the bag when carried and also lies on the floor and collects dirt. It is un appealing and could have been placed on a higher position on the bag. The back velcro pocket is great for my writing pads and it gives me easy access when flying so that I don't have to open the front flap. I was enjoying the convenience of the two inside slot-style pockets which I was using for my flash drives and air pods (they are easy to access while I am removing my laptop). However, while traveling with my bag, I somehow lost a very important flash drive which was in one of the pockets. It apparently worked its way out of the pocket at some point while the bag was on its side. So, now, I put put my all of my accessories in the secondary zipper pocket along with my power cord. I put them in a small zipper bag first, though, to avoid damage from the metal on the plug. The main (laptop) compartment is roomy and houses my computer perfectly. I don’t have to fight with the zipper to get it to close and the laptop doesn’t shift around with too much extra room. My only complaint (although quite the significant one) is that there could be more padding on the bottom of the bag. I am very careful when I carry my laptop around, but I feel a bag should give me the security in knowing that if an accident should happen, that my laptop would be protected to some degree. Still, there is definitely a layer of protection beyond carrying it without a case (which is what I was doing prior to now). And, with the convenient carrying handle, I can carry other things at the same time. Overall, this bag is a great organizer for a large laptop and gives lots of space for accessories. It could use a little more padding, but is still a much better option than not having a bag at all. The adjustable strap could have been a little higher on the bag, but that’s only a minor annoyance. The fabric is easily cleanable and durable, and the removable strap gives the user the option to carry by hand or over the shoulder. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a good, basic laptop bag with plenty of storage options.

The strap is comfortable on his shoulder, which he was happy to discover since the bag he was replacing would always leave marks on his shoulder and was very uncomfortable. He also loves that there is a pocket or compartment for everything he needs to bring to work. Overall, the quality and functionality of this bag are spot on.

So I used this a couple of times to carry my laptop to work, and my 19 year old who’s going to college soon took it and said it would be the perfect messenger bag to have for school. She’s not wrong. It fits her laptop, some notebooks, some pens, her headphones, her portable charger for her phone and more neatly. It’s not a large or bulky bag. It will be a great addition to her back to school supplies, but it was good for work too when I was using it.

It has an odd square shape, poor interior design, uncomfortable strap, no way to hang it on my suitcase handle. I had one from ten years ago that I really like but it was worn out. I bought a different brand and plan to throw this one away.

The laptop fits in the bag with plenty of extra room for my notebooks, chargers, etc. It has a convenient carrying strap to make it comfortable carrying all of my items around. I bring this to work and love how it looks. It has a professional feel and I would recommend this to anyone in need of laptop protection and to carry all of their items.

Bag is well padded for computer protection. Seaming on bag is better than others I have had with no loose threads on interior that could pull, nicely finished and constructed. Bag is lightweight and shoulder strap is comfortable for carrying. Very happy with selection!

I assumed this would be perfect for my laptop, and I was right. This bag is perfect to keep your laptop safe. It has a nice strap so you can wear it on your shoulder. I would definitely recommend!
