The Targus Laser Presentation Remote features a simplistic button layout, making it easy to give presentations. The KeyLock Technology locks non-essential buttons when not needed to help eliminate accidental button presses. The integrated laser pointer allows the presenter to highlight important content while the backlit buttons provide visibility in environments with low lighting. The latest RF 2.4GHz cordless technology works from up to 50ft away, providing flexibility while presenting in large conference rooms or classrooms. The mini USB receiver stores inside of the presenter so it's always ready to use. The device is immediately ready to use and comes stocked with a high-quality AAA Energizer MAX battery. Both stylish and functional, the Targus Presentation Remote is easy to operate for seamless presentations at work or school.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great when new. Then... This is the third we've purchased. They work wonderfully, but I recommend having a backup for when they don't. The battery cover on one gradually became warped; another began to randomly operate the slide-advance feature; and one...well, it replaced the second one. The first one still works, with rubber bands around it to keep the battery cover in place. For the price, they might be built with a little sturdier casing material. But the three...well, that's how many we've purchased over more than a few years. So, yes, they're that good.

This replaces one that I had for about 8 years that the laser ran out of gas on and it works just as well. Good extra buttons for black screen, starting presentation and very intuitive main button design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from buying a second I bought one of these for my companies conference room over 3 years ago and it has always worked when called upon. I've loaned it out for people to take to clients and used it on a hand-full of PCs around the office without any issues (other than showing people where the power button is). I now need to buy a second one because people are "borrowing" it from the conference room too much!

I like that I can put it easily in the front pocket of my work bag. The grip on the bottom helps keep a good handle to it while you are giving a presentation. Totally recommend.

I needed one of these for work presentations and helping out executives with their projects. Works great in a dongle and doesn't skip a beat! the circle lights up and makes it easy to understand what to push! Fits in a small hand well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as intended, a rarity This little remote works perfectly as intended. Set up is simple: take USB dongle and attached to PC. During PP presentations, you can use the keys to move forward/back, lock keys, black out screen, and a laser pointer. Perfect!

So easy to use and our audience was much more tuned in and impressed by the fact that we had this and accentuated learning. Needless to say this is the next generation of laser pointer!

Its small enough that it fits very nicely in my hand, it's wireless, it also has a spot to store the wireless receiver right into the base of the laser, so you won't lose it for the next time you need it. One thing to note, you will need a AAA battery to operate your laser. This works perfectly for slide presentations to display your work and the laser to point out what you want to highlight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool for road warriors The Targus wireless presenter is a great tool for road warriors. It is sleek and compact so it easily fits in your laptop bag. It takes 2 AAA batteries but actually one is a backup in case the first fails during a presentation. This is a smart way to prevent presentation disasters. This is not a mouse it is just a laser pointer and a controller for PowerPoint slides. Works with pc’s or macs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very weak laser Ok the nice things about this laser pointer. It only uses one AAA battery, the back and forward buttons work. The laser works well enough if you're pointing it at a wall or white board. The bad, if you point the laser at a computer monitor it's almost invisible unless it's on a black part of the screen and you're looking straight on at it. If the screen is white or light colored, or you're looking at it at an angle it's not visible. On a TV it's even worse, it's almost completely invisible. Using this for presentations in a workplace doesn't work out well, due to most places using monitors or TVs for presentations.

The storage for the USB dongle is built in so you don’t lose it. The pointer stays vivid for as far as you want to stand back. Auto-off also helps conserve the battery power. All in all it is a great tool to add to your laptop bag.

I love that I can point a laser at specific parts of my slides to emphasize them and the functionality of this remote is great, one click of a button and I can present quickly. Easy to install as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, reliable, and compact The Targus laser presentation remote fits well in the hand. It’s compact with a smooth top and rigid bottom to help alleviate dropping/slipping of the remote. It works with a USB-A dongle that is stored in the battery compartment and was plug and play with my PC. With a clear line of sight, I have walked a good thirty feet away and remote still worked. Laser pointer also worked nicely from that range pointed at a pretty large screen. The lock feature is nice when you’re speaking to a certain slide for some time but are moving around to avoid un-wanted button push. Buttons are intuitive and you’ll quickly learn to use while not having to look at the remote which is important when presenting to large crowds. Overall, I am very happy with the Targus presentation remote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels perfect in my palm. A few minor issues. I'm giving this laser pointer a 4-star rating, because it feels so perfect in my hand. I have another laser pointer that has a green laser, but it is a very thin design. Like a skinny pen. I've lost it a few times. This red laser presenter from Targus has an incredible form. Like I said, it fits perfectly. The plastic feels sturdy and grippy. And since it's larger, it would be very hard to lose. I like the way it hides the USB connector right next to the battery. Smart design. The connection is instantaneous on my Mac. Plug and present! The big button in the middle is just perfect. I lights-up nicely with a green ring when all buttons are enabled. There's a smaller "keylock" button on the side that disables all buttons except the main laser, so you won't accidentally change slides. When engaged, the green ring turns red. You can still use the laser, but nothing else. However, I have 2 issues. I wish the two smaller buttons for Blank Screen and Slide Show on the top were a little larger. They are very small for my big fingers. My other issue is how the battery/USB cover didn't fully snap back on to the bottom. You can see the gap in the photo. It clicks shut, but then pops open a little. That's no dealbreaker for me. I'll return this one and get another new one just like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Response This remote has the best response time of any I've used. When I click the next button the slide changes right away. I don't feel like I have to guess if it's going to change or not.It just does. Super helpful when presenting so I don't have to worry about it. The next buttons are a little small. It took a little getting used to, but definitely worth it!. I like having the laser pointer on the remote. Very handy when you need to point at something instead of describing it.or approaching the screen. I'd highly recommend getting this remote!
