It picked up a weak signal at the edge of it's range and still gave me great connection speeds and all for less than $15. My only complaint would be that because of it's tiny size, when I dropped it, it slid under a table and was a pain to retrieve. Other than that it has performed very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 bySteveInTx from This adapter locked up one machine but worked in anotherWhen I first installed one of these adapters on an Asus Veriton computer running Win 7 Pro SP1, the entire machine locked up. I couldn't get keyboard or mouse response. When I rebooted and removed the adapter while it booted, the machine worked fine. If I put the adapter back in, the machine locked up. However, I did install the very same adapter on a Dell Vostro 200 running Win 7 Pro SP1 and it worked great. Unfortunately, I need an adapter that will work on the new Asus computers I'm buying, so I won't be buying these again. I guess it's hit or miss whether it will work with your hardware.
