TP-LINK's Archer C7 comes with the next generation Wi-Fi standard - 802.11ac, 3 times faster than wireless N speeds and delivering a combined wireless data transfer rate of up to 1.75 Gbps. With 1.3 Gbps wireless speeds over the crystal clear 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps over the 2.4 GHz band, the Archer C7 is the superior choice for seamless HD streaming, online gaming and other bandwidth-intensive tasks.

The Archer C7 operates over both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensuring amazing wireless performance. Simultaneous dual band offers you the flexibility of two dedicated networks - with multiple times the bandwidth for your needs. Simple tasks like sending e-mails or web browsing can be handled by the 2.4 GHz band while bandwidth intensive tasks like online gaming or HD video streaming can be processed by the 5 GHz band - all at the same time.

Product Reviews
TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Router is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from I believe the problems are caused by the router Recently, I realized that my phone and my wife's phone no longer receive notification if they were left idle for a while even though they are supposed to connect to wifi all the time. I suspect that this is due to the router automatically disconnects idle devices. However, the router does not give me an option for setting max time out to 0 when I use dynamic IP setting. Spent hours trying to solve this problems. Very frustrated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy to use, weak and unreliable signal. We have a two story 2200 sq ft home. I bought this to replace our AT&T router bc we had trouble with wifi coverage. Unfortunately, while the Archer C7 is much easier to use and configure, it is also even worse. I have used tools to identify and eliminate any competing signals, etc, but the 5GHz signal degrades by the time you move more than one room away. The 2.4 GHz signal travels better, but drops periodically on our second floor. Very disappointed so far. My goal in buying this was to improve our situation, not make it worse.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very unstable and unreliable router I've been using it for 2 years. It used to work relatively well, but for last months it has been dropping Wi-Fi connection every hour and produces pretty weak Wi-Fi signal. Upgrading of firmware doesn't help too much. I have to reset this modem 2-3 times a day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't set up correctly During set up the internet on button will only stay on when hitting the reset button and then for a few minutes after that. My other router still works so I know it's not my internet. I am getting prompt "internet port is unplugged" even though I have plugged in when I go into your set up instructions. I have never had an issue w setting up routers before

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me This was recommended to me from someone and so far after a month not a single problem. Good range compared to my last setup, speed, haven't had to reset it once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best routers I have owned As with most routers I was hoping for a good stable router and expecting at 6 months to replace it. I suspect some who rate this router bad are not having issues purely with the router. Because I cannot fault the performance of this router at all. I have had issues but mostly because of Comcast service or a modem that was dying. The router has not been a issue with me, although I agree the blinking lights in front are probably annoying in the dark and the menu's refresh too quickly at times to adjust settings. Otherwise range is typical of the bands, 2.4 ghz good range, 5 ghz not as good range but improved speeds. 5 Ghz will still cover upstairs of my 1300 sqft house from center of basement. That's sufficient and stable in speed. Can't ask for much more. Would recommend this router hands down over some routers twice the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Moving On From this Router - Connectivity Issues Galore I bought this router after doing a lot of research and seeing that it was one of the best routers in its price category. This router worked decently for web browsing on laptops, or on android devices. For some reason iOS devices no longer not stay connected to this router's service on either band for more than 5 minutes at a time. This may be an issue with Apple, but given the prevalence of iOS devices these days tp-link would do well to fix it. In addition, it struggled with streaming videos on almost any device. I appreciated the networking configuration options- I was able to setup and use a hadoop cluster through this router with no issues. Its possible that my device was a lemon, but in any case it was highly disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stopped working in less than a year The speed was usually good, set up was easy, and it worked great. However, all of a sudden internet started disconnecting randomly after less than a year of use. I am disappointed at the quality and would not recommend a product whose lifespan is so short.
