With 1.3 Gbps wireless speeds over the crystal clear 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps over the 2.4 GHz band, the Archer C7 is the superior choice for seamless HD streaming, online gaming and other bandwidth-intensive tasks.

The Archer C7 operates over both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensuring amazing wireless performance. Simultaneous dual band offers you the flexibility of two dedicated networks - with multiple times the bandwidth for your needs. Product Reviews
TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Router is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Degraded speed over WiFi, but wired connection works I've owned this router for about 3 years now and the wifi (2.4 and 5 Ghz) have been working as expected (able to reach ISP alotted speed). However, just recently, the wifi seems to have taken a dump and does not reach a 1/4 of the rated speed. The wired connections to this router are able to get to the rated speed. There has been no change or wireless changes in the area. This is also using the latest firmware for v2 of the router.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why are you not supporting V2 firmware updates? My router is 13 months old and a V2. It seems after 13 months my router is OBSOLETE as the v2 model has not been issued a CRITICAL (WPA2 Kracks Security Vulnerability) firmware update (last update May 2017). Later version numbers of the same router have been issued the CRITICAL security updates. It seems v2's aren't worthy? Also, Wifi switches between acceptable and extremely slow, or drops the connection altogether - in a room 20ft away. My 10 yr old Linksys has no such issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really terrible This worked great to start in our new house however I now have to reset it pretty much daily. I also don't seem to get anywhere near the speeds I would expect. With my 100 MB service the speed peaks at 50ish MB on my phone but rarely do I get those speeds. Frequently the speeds are measured in kb rather than mb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value router The nice thing about this router is the size as it isn't a behemoth like some other routers in the market. The setup was pretty easy and the router seemed to be pretty stable and reliable on the most current firmware available at the time. The router does feature gigabit ports as well as USB ports for connecting external drives or printers. Overall the performance and coverage was pretty good for a router in this price range. I have 20+ IP devices at any given time on my network and did not suffer any type of slow down or degradation of service. Submitted as part of a free sample program.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The price is right for this robust and versatile router Set this up for my in-laws after they switched cable companies, and their new ISP tried to charge them extra for wifi. For years they had their modem/router on the top floor of the house, which made wifi access difficult from the den two floors down. Their current setup is now modem plus the TP-Link Archer C7 router one floor down near their main living area, broadcasting centrally to every point in the house. Also combined this setup to a TP-Link Powerline kit so their desktop PC upstairs have 100% reliable connection. I thought about spending more for a higher-end router, but they simply won't need the data and power that comes with something more expensive. This router is simple, secure, and fast. So far very reliable. Submitted as part of a free sample program.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Router, Works very well, Great Wi-Fi Range This device is easy and quick to setup. The quick start guide is easy to follow. I was able to get it up and running within five minutes. This router is fast and powerful. This powerhouse can provide fast and reliable both wired and wireless internet. I have been having this device setup for few days and it has been running up and strong. I haven't had any issues with this device. I did not have to restart the device once. I am very impressed with the reliability of the device. I have 2800sqft home and it provides Wi-Fi coverage to almost entire house without any extra extender or access point. The router comes with two USB port. I used one of the USB port to connect my hard drive to make it available for all the computers to use it as network drive. The other USB port was used to connect my USB printer as network printer. The convenience was very handy for both network hard drive and the network printer. I am really happy with the router and so far I don't have any complaint or concern about the router. The reliability is similar to its competitor and it is cost effective as well. I highly recommended this router. Submitted as part of free sample program.
