TP-LINK's Archer C7 comes with the next generation Wi-Fi standard - 802.11ac, 3 times faster than wireless N speeds and delivering a combined wireless data transfer rate of up to 1.75 Gbps. With 1.3 Gbps wireless speeds over the crystal clear 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps over the 2.4 GHz band, the Archer C7 is the superior choice for seamless HD streaming, online gaming and other bandwidth-intensive tasks.

The Archer C7 operates over both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, ensuring amazing wireless performance. Simultaneous dual band offers you the flexibility of two dedicated networks - with multiple times the bandwidth for your needs. Simple tasks like sending e-mails or web browsing can be handled by the 2.4 GHz band while bandwidth intensive tasks like online gaming or HD video streaming can be processed by the 5 GHz band - all at the same time.

Product Reviews
TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Router is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constantly Drops signals Worst router extender combination I've had for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitly a very good choice for home solutions Initially bought this product 1 1/2 year ago in order to (1) upgrade my previous Linksys router running on DD-WRT to higher WiFi standards (from B to N/AC) in order to boost throughput; (2) but as well for the mobile app in order to quickly/easily perform typical config change at home: enable guest network, control who's accessing your network, block unwanted host; (3) be able to attach "dummy" USB devices for sharing across LAN (Disk & printer); (4) Access Control allowing very flexible scenario to be configured but it can be lengthy process in case of multiple rules required. Being used to Linux Sys admin task inc router/fw config, I would have work around that with terminal (SSH) interface or backup config in txt file and import after changes. But none of them is provided. I could not compare to other product in similar feature band/price band but doesn't regret my choice. I did not face any connection issue with wired/wireless clients (10 clients: mobiles, desktop, laptops, tablets,NAS,mediaplayer)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Drops and reconnects every 5 minutes. This router drops wi fi signal every 5 minutes but only on my laptop with dual band AC capability. Very annoying as I bought a new laptop and this router to take advantage of AC speed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this product Seemed to work ok for a while. Then devices lost there connection and will not reconnect. Reseting the router helps for a little while. There are many different devices that have this problem, so the router is the only common thread.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I believe the problems are caused by the router Recently, I realized that my phone and my wife's phone no longer receive notification if they were left idle for a while even though they are supposed to connect to wifi all the time. I suspect that this is due to the router automatically disconnects idle devices. However, the router does not give me an option for setting max time out to 0 when I use dynamic IP setting. Spent hours trying to solve this problems. Very frustrated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy to use, weak and unreliable signal. We have a two story 2200 sq ft home. I bought this to replace our AT&T router bc we had trouble with wifi coverage. Unfortunately, while the Archer C7 is much easier to use and configure, it is also even worse. I have used tools to identify and eliminate any competing signals, etc, but the 5GHz signal degrades by the time you move more than one room away. The 2.4 GHz signal travels better, but drops periodically on our second floor. Very disappointed so far. My goal in buying this was to improve our situation, not make it worse.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very unstable and unreliable router I've been using it for 2 years. It used to work relatively well, but for last months it has been dropping Wi-Fi connection every hour and produces pretty weak Wi-Fi signal. Upgrading of firmware doesn't help too much. I have to reset this modem 2-3 times a day.
