Very good for the price
I bought this item almost 3 months ago and upon looking it the stock images, I was a little skeptical, but it was the only hub available that fitted my needs and my price range. So far it's a good -- sturdy little hub. The charge ports and the 7 ports stooked my ire because I have a lot of devices to connect at once and I simply ran out of ports to plug into. The best feature is having the ablility to use it with & without AC power, and being able to charge my other devices (phone, tablet etc without having to worry if my onboard laptop ports would short the usb chord or my laptop ports. And so far after my current time spent, I can say; none of this happened.

Low profile, doesn’t take up too much room on the desk and lets me connect 3 external hard drives, a printer, scanner, web camera, and my wireless mouse/keyboard dongle all while allowing me to charge my phone and headphones without using regular ports. Works like a charm and no issues with loose connections.

Sleek, compact device to expand limited ports on Laptop.
Sleek, compact hub; lots of ports for multiple devices. External hard drive (Maxtor 1TB) doesn't "like" being plugged into the hub; worked for a while, but since has started beeping continuously. HD works fine when plugged into docking station. No idea what the problem is. Other devices have no problem with the hub.

Great addition to older lap top. Born again utility for flash storage and wireless devices I have aquired. Hook up of optical drive lost long ago for. Can't say enough!

I find this hub to be quite useful because I can space out three Bluetooth dongles on the front without having them right next to each other and then I still have 4 USB ports available for flash drives or other devices. In addition, I can charge my devices such as my Logitech headset, AirPods Pro and iPhone 8 on the side without having my iPhone sync to my PC every time I plug it in to charge it. Plus, it looks really nice on my desk, but it does collect dust like any other black shiny object.

CAUSES CONNECTIVITY ISSUES
My Dell laptop does not recognize this item upon startup so I have to unplug it, turn on the laptop, then plug in the Hub. Very annoying and caused problems with my brand new laptop. Would not purchase again or recommend.

Functional but needs improvement
Great easy to use design but lacks power. Can power low yield electronics but it's not capable of charging latest generation USB-C phones. Phone doesn't even progress at slow rate.

It is definitely nice to have more functional USB ports for my Dell laptop as I was down to only one working consistently. I was a little disappointed that for the USB hub to work it has to be plugged in to a power source. I must have missed that reading the description. . That takes away a lot of the portability of the laptop.

Wonderful Device!
This desktop device is absolutely fantastic. It was purchased to replace a similar device that is not a Dell product that had become intermittent. This new Dell device is plug and play, set up was super easy. No problems were encountered. This device is very stable and just flat works - just like is supposed to. Thank you Dell!

Great port hub for laptops
This is the second one I bought for my backup laptop. Works great. Gives you all the ports you'd need for these new laptops with only two built in ports. Transmits data efficiently to all peripherals. Convenient size.
