This is Scotch PRO thermal laminator that will laminate items up to 13 inches wide. It is a 4 roller system that has two temperature settings. The pro laminator prevents jamming. It is photo quality and will laminate up to 6 mil thick pouches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Junk I just bought this highly recommended scotch pro laminator. It turns in but will not pull the film through. I will be returning it. I am a teacher and I laminate quite often. I need something reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible Product We bought one of these for my office in Spring of 2017 and it was dead by January of 2018. There were no lights and it didn't warm up at all. We got a replacement and that just died. Maybe I'll plead with customer service to see if we can get another one, but what's the point? I would estimate that both laminators were used a total of 20 times. 3M should be embarrassed to put their name on this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WORKS GREAT!! I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M and the company recently sent me a free sample of the Pro Thermal laminator. I have found it very easy to use and it makes a great product. I laminate photos for craft projects and small items for school. This machine makes a nice addition to my crafting area as it can be set on the back of the table and set up immediately to use. I would recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy! I was very excited when I received the 3M-Scotch Pro Thermal Laminator to test for review from 3M. I decided the first thing I would laminate would be an old school picture of my son and I couldn't believe how simple it was to use! The instructions were very easy to follow and All I had to do was open the flap at the top where I put the picture (in the laminate sheet) in and press a button and in less than a minute it seemed like, it was done. After that I wanted to laminate everything LOL...This is so nice to protect so many important items that we all have and I gave it 5 stars and recommend to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome machine!!!! I received this product free from 3M. This laminator is great. Some of the features include fast warm up, the green ready light came on before I finished reading all the directions! Also it is very quiet and the rollers are very smooth. I have laminated 3 projects already, no wrinkles or bubbles and sealed very nicely. I love the auto shut off feature, as I was putting together another project to laminate, it took a bit longer than I thought and the machine turned itself off, great safety feature! I was also able to use the different mil thickness feature for a school project. I will continue to buy 3M products as they consistently work great and last a long time. I will post pics of some of my projects.

It works and does not overheat. my projects fit into it and laminate without bubbles or smudging. It fits perfectly in my home and had a great design. It is not super heavy so it can be moved whenever needed. This is gong to save me a lot of money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great until the Gears Melt after 3 years! This is a very good laminator when the gears are new. The problem is with the design. It is built with plastic gears that after 3 years will break apart causing the rollers to get stuck along with your laminating pouch. This unit would last much longer if they spent a couple of dollars and use metal gears to drive the rollers. It is designed to fail!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUNK LAMINATOR TL 1306 Removed the TL1306 from the box and used it 1 time. Second time we turned it on the lights blinked and then the machine shut itself off. Would not recommend this pile of junk to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much to LOVE about this product!! I received this product FREE from 3M to try out!!! I was so pleased at the capabilities of this product. First off, the variety of sizes are a plus. I love that it is larger than other basic laminators! I love that it heats properly and quickly. I haven't had any problems with my laminating projects. I laminate a variety of items on a regular basis. As a first grade teacher, I always create and laminate at least 2 sets of nametags for my students. I appreciate that there is a variety of sizes that I can use for my nametags. The laminator is lightweight and safe!! That a BONUS. I can easily transport it from school to home if needed. I usually leave it in my classroom so that it is easily accessible. With Mother's Day coming up, my students are excited to work on special projects that we will laminate for their moms. Prior to this, I have never used the larger pouches -- especially the letter size pouches. This will be the most useful to me for student projects as well as important papers that I need to keep. As I begin to use my materials, I am also very happy with the affordability of the materials: pouches, luggage loops, etc. Thank you for creating a dream machine!!!

We are a homeschooling family with three boys and this is a wonderful product for our school room as well as for our home office. I tried the sample pouches that came with it. The product heated up quickly. The pouches were easy to use and moved easily through the machine. The quality of the lamination was very good on small items (2in. by 4 in. identification badges) as well as the new menu sized pouches. I also tried the 4in by 6in pouches and the letter sized ones. I really wondered if it could handle the wide range of sizes and it did! We're going to enjoy this a lot!

I bought extra covers so all my kids art work can be preserved and pictures I display can be protected. I can't imagine not having a laminator now. Amazing!

I like the ability to laminate larger items, too. Definitely a great item. Far surpasses other laminators I have used. Thanks!

I'm a mommy of 4 and they're always coming home with the cutest art work from school, I'd always save them but through out the years they start getting damaged. But they won't anymore. I started laminating every project, and it was great quality ! No air bubbles ! I highly recommend this laminator !

This is an very nice laminator and I would highly recommend it to everyone. It can laminate items up to 12.3 inches wide which most others cannot do.

Just another cheap product inlandfill now. I wish companies would stop making cheap stuff that has such a short life. Obviously the reviews here tell me this is a weak design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Great....and then it didn't! I bought this laminator about two weeks ago, and the first time I used it (roughly 10 minute duration), it worked great! Heated up very fast, fed my work through quickly - I was very impressed. However, during its second use, about 2 minutes after the ready light was on, the machine suddenly turned off and hasn't worked since! I had purchased a more basic laminator in the past, and it had lasted over two years. As a teacher who uses my own money to purchase these kinds of tools, I was really counting on this upgraded machine lasting for more than two uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value I bought this machine and used it on card stock (not recommended). Worked great until the card stock ruined the roller tension. If you buy this laminator it will do a great job on regular paper. The things I laminated came out great.

Love having the different laminator sheet thickness options and the wide opening. A must have for the classroom! I also have another one at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from used 2 summers for camp now will not turn on Our C&E department brought one to use our signs multiple years. It worked great first summer. The second summer took a little longer to heat up. Start of third summer will not turn on. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this laminator. I call customer service number however since it had been over a year oh well my problem now. I think a model that costs as much as this one does should last more than 6 months use.

I had other sheets to pass through the laminator but the unit shut off after the one sheet passed through beautiful. Apparently, the unit is defective and I will return it to Sam's Wholesale.

I have had it less than 6 months and I haven't used it on a regular basis. Would love to know how to solve this problem. I'm using Scotch brand sheets of the proper thickness.

I have used it for less than 2 months. I was so disappointed when I plugged it in, it turned on, and within 5 minutes it shut off and won't turn back on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm in Love I received this product for free for my unbiased opinion from 3M. I am in love with my laminator. I am a homeschool mom that has been needing one for years. So far I have been able to laminate my sons flash cards and my seven year old convinced me to laminate some of his coloring pages so he could have them forever. I have never used a laminator before and this one is super simple to use. I was able to laminate at least 25 pages in less then an hour. Trust me time is of the essence when you are a homeschooling mom. This laminator heats up quickly and the only suggestion I would have is to make the tray longer so when you are laminating a larger piece or if you are laminating pieces that you have cut apart won't fall out of the pouch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! 3M gave me this laminater to test for them. I love it! It heats up quickly, is very easy to use. Just put whatever you want laminated in the sleeve, and send it through. It comes out sealed, no air bubbles, and stays laminated. Takes less than a minute to laminate. The cord stores underneath so it doesn't take up much space. The laminating sleeves are easy to find too. I found several different sizes at Walmart.

I really loved how quick it heated up and how cool the item I was laminating was as soon as it came out of the laminator. I also loved the recessed storage for the cord. I plan to use this laminator for my home and school projects. It is very easy and convenient to use.

I also bought the laminating sheets (100 and now I'm left with 95 Scotch pouches. I will shop for another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very expensive paperweight. I have had this for a few months just just took it off the shelf and opened the box to laminate stuff for the first day of school. It shut off after the 3rd sheet. It had been on for maybe 10 minutes. It won't turn back on. This is the most expensive paperweight I have ever bought.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Product - used very little and quit! Granted I bought this back in December 2014 as a Christmas gift for my daughter who is a teacher. She used it 3 to 5 times a YEAR. Took it out yesterday to use. Plugged it in and it the light came on but won't heat up. Called customer service and they said sorry can't help you out of warranty. No replacement parts. By reading other reviews this seems to be a common problem. Scotch needs to stand by it's products and discontinue this item. Wish these reviews were out there when I purchased it. Now she has a ton of laminating pouches and no laminator. Do NOT purchase.

Is there a way to purchase a replacement cog wheel/roller or set? Can someone contact me via email regarding this and about getting replacement parts?

It's not that I don't like it but if it says never jam that's what it should be. We did try our luck again and brought another one.
