One night I close the computer and now it won’t power on or show the battery/ charging light. This happened the day my warranty expired. This was not as great as I once thought.

I am pretty disappointed in the performance and the overall quality of materials. the Intel Celeron processor is dreadfully slow. Knowing what I know, I would have been much better served to buy a tablet. The old adage is true. "You get what you pay for."

Rated 5 out of 5 byblancocooper from Good Product for what I doThe best things about the Chromebook 3 (my second Samsung Chromebook) are the screen, the weight, and the battery life. I have had this one for over a year. I have some visual impairment and the matte screen, together with the ease of adjusting brightness, and of enlarging print in the Chrome Browser, plus the contrast extension you can add from the web store, makes this my go-to device. I still have a Windows desktop that I use occasionally for things like audio editing, but that's about all; and I have an Android tablet that gets some use. But if I have to spend significant time in front of the screen or on the keyboard, the CB 3 is my first choice. Portability is also great at about 2.5 pounds and I have unintentionally tested the drop survival a couple of times -- it survives as advertised. Finally, the battery life really is about 9 hours and if you dim the screen a little it is even better.The micro-SD slot allows me to default all my downloads to what amounts to a second "drive". Keeping a 64 GB card in there and out of sight is a real improvement over the original Chromebook.If I could change one thing it would be to make the processor something a little faster -- like a Pentium n3710 at a slightly higher price. The dual Celeron is pretty good, but gets bogged down on occasion -- but not a big deal.All in all, a really satisfactory experience!

The speakers are a bit weird because they are on the bottom but regardless this chromebook is working great for its inexpensive price. Only thing i would change is where the speakers are located. Other than that this is a great device that is portable, fast, and slim. Thanks Samsung!p.s. I am actually making this review with the chromebook 3 4gb ram
