Rated 2 out of 5 by printer broke down within 6 months. customer service from Samsung was a shambles. Logged a call, had no contact for 4 days, called to chase and engineer arrived 2 days later. Engineer left site and printer failed again, called Samsung back to relog call and had to log a new call as they wouldn't reopen it. 2 days later called Samsung to chase and they said they would pass it through to the escalations team and they would be in contact within 3 days(!). No further contact so called again and was told that the call had been closed as 'the call was opened when the engineer was on site so we thought it was a mistake', I logged the call 1 1/2 hours after the engineer had left, so he was obviously fiddling his timesheet and I had to log another fresh call (nothing like fiddling your SLA stats!) Got a call from the engineer a day later who then said he would have to order the part from Samsung and it would take another 3 days. In all the printer was out of action for 15 days. My predecessor bought a Samsung because it was cheap and thought it was saving money, they were wrong! This is the only Samsung in the business and the last. Rant over! September 28, 2010
