SKB 4U Roll-X Rack Case

This SKB ROLL-X Rack case accommodates up to 4U high of standard 19” rack mountable equipment with 17.5” depth clearance. These cases have a beautifully integrated pull handle and wheel system featuring in-line skate type wheel with sealed bearings for maximum portability. In addition the ROLL-X series utilizes a high quality aluminum valance, recessed heavy duty twist latches, rubber non skid feet, and comfortable molded in carry handle. The SKB ROLL-X series is manufactured from LLDPE polyethylene resin, which has been “hot melt” compounded to insure consistent color throughout the case, and cannot be scratched or peeled off. The case material is resistant to acids, solvents, UV, corrosion, and fungus so you need not worry about the environment. Rotational molding allows SKB to manufacture cases without molded in stress, which you will get with other manufacturing technologies. Rotational molding also allows SKB to form a hard shell case with 15 to 20% thicker walls in the areas that are subject to the greatest external stress, such as the corners. This technology allows SKB to build a rolling rack case that is capable of lasting forever in the most challenging and demanding environments. These cases are ideal for easily transporting small amounts of standard 19” rack mountable equipment with up to 17.5” depth.
