The Piper Bluetooth Sensing Gateway gives enterprise customers a real-time view of all Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) activity in their environment to help track and identify assets. Whenever live data collection is a requirement, the Piper Gateway is a secure and reliable service that connects via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or LTE. The device detects nearby BLE activity and converts it to a useful protocol that can be quickly monitored and mapped. Unlike other sensor hardware that simply detects presence, the Piper Gateway is adaptable to custom advertisements - the perfect solution for capturing live data from components such as accelerometers, magnetometers, and environmental sensing modules. This enables the Gateway to collect data from moving BLE devices and go beyond static recognition of devices that broadcast only UUID and Major/Minor values.
