They are super water resistant, too, with a one-touch dual locking system for secure locking, easy opening and protection against the elements. Water and Shock Resistant shell provides extra protection during active use. Water-resistant is critical at the gym or the beach, and the shock resistant shell helps for those unexpected trips to the sand. 40 Second Digital Antishock Memory buffers 40 seconds of data in the unit's memory. If the unit is inadvertently bumped or shaken while in use, the system uses the information stored in its memory to keep the music going, uninterrupted. XBS (Extra Bass System) is Panasonic's exclusive bass-enhancement circuitry for personal audio products, providing solid, hard-hitting bass impact you feel as well as hear. Heat-Resistant Polycarbonate Body is made to stand up to the intense heat of summer. The disc will stay locked during play, preventing the vibrations that can produce "skips". To remove, simply press the button in the middle of the spindle.
