Rated 5 out of 5 by from great light-duty shredder just got my shredder out of the box & tested it out.... it performs just as advertized ! no jams at max capacity (only slows down a bit) not any noisier than the old model it replaced [not that I expected it to be whisper quiet]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Value for Money The shredder did a good job shredding credit cards as well as paper. The safety features on the shredder are good and the locking mechanism minimizes the chances of accidents. Overall a good little work horse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shredder Having had a Fellowes mid-range shredder for years, when it came time to get a new and more powerful unit, I went for the Powershred Cross-Cut model. It is well constructed and does and excellent job to fit my needs. I give it a definite thumbs up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The worst I bought the fellows P-35C shredder and used it once a month ago. I pulled it out today to shred paper but it keep over heating and stopping ,so this is taking longer than I expected and I no longer have my receipt . This means I have to deal with the worst shredder I've ever encountered. Please don't don't invest in this shredder ,it's the worst.signed an upset customer...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent performance My previous shredder by fellowes which was a cheaper model, became inoperable, and a new shredder p35c was sent to me at no charge, and this model is superior, and functions like a top notch business shredder. I am very pleased with the attention given to me by your representative, and of course at no charge. You really stand behind your product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the Job Done Fair warning: this shredder is not made for big shredding jobs. Nor does it do CDs. Other than those two negatives, this shredder is worth its weight. My advice: don't buy it when you're trying to prepare for a move. It's not meant to be used for those big jobs. But it will get the job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Endurance The shredder overheats after shredding papers that amount to about half of the storage bin! Very frustrating to have to wait until the unit cools down to start using again. I am planning on returning the product to the store if I can manage to get a refund without the box!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality products at a reasonable price point This is the second Fellowes shredder I have owned. The first lasted 10 years (normal home office use), it died last month. I immediately ordered my second. The new shredder is quiet and efficient as was the first. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a home office shredder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mediocre shredder but Fellowes customers service is tops! This is my second of these shredders, bought again after changing countries/voltages. I got the same one because it "did the job", not necessarily because it impresses; * bad points - it can't handle much at a time, and shuts off after a few minutes * good points - after checking a pretty good troubleshooting page I still needed advice on getting the shredder unjammed (was running only backwards), and was through to a knowledgeable rep in 2mins - problem solved. So, don't expect the greatest performance but it does the job and they offer great support. PS. if only running backward, unplug and fish the little white plastic sensor back from the shredder jaws (it sometimes gets stuck in "down" position)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from shred it good Feels and looks heavy duty, but small enough to be out of the way. Handled 5 sheets without much slowdown, ate up the credit cards and staples had no effect. Not sure how many staples it would take to dull it, probably won't find out, but none the less nice to know it can handle them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tentative The crosscuts became less and less each day of use. Now I must stop using the shredder until I get oil. Maybe then it will work better again. I had been using only 1 or 2 sheets at a time, At four sheets it jammed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANTASTIC I HAD A LITTLE SHREDDER THAT I TYE WRAPPED TO A STRAW WASTE BASKET. IT WOULD ONLY TAKE HALF THE WIDTH OF LETTER SIZE PAPER.IT DID NOT SHRED CREDIT CARDS. THIS SHREDDER IS SO CONVENIENT. IT TAKES LETTER SIZE PAPER (5 SHEETS AT A TIME). I LINE THE BASKET WITH A PAPER BAG & JUST LIFT IT OUT WHEN FULL. I AM DEFINITELY EXCITED ABOUT THIS NEW SHREDDER.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good basic purchase This is a reliable basic shredder. It does not have great sheet capacity but has the sound and performance of a heavy-duty shredder. I haven't tried credit cards, staples and CD's so cannot comment on this aspect. It is small, which can be either an asset or liability. It doesn't take up much space so fits easily into a home office. On the other hand, it does not hold very much shredded paper. All in all, a good choice for a small home office or private use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent design with fair performance The Shredder is small and sleek in design at the same time is capable of quick shredding. I have used this for shredding plastic, hard and soft paper so far and it works well.It does stop functioning for a while if run continuously with heavy load and also is a bit noisy.Overall the product is worth the price .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality home office shredder The P-35C seems to be a good quality home shredder. It is fairly quiet and shreds quickly. The size is perfect for a small home office. The best part is no jams ..it just keeps shredding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from paper jammed in reverse mod, and credit card issues Shred for credit cards are no secure enough, card is still in one peace so all the numbers are still readable. Another thing is that reverse mod cant unjam the shredder. The latest problem is that i have a lot of paper shreds jammed in the in the insertion part just above the shredder head. It is only working in reverse mod now, it looks like I have to unscrew it and clean manually? any help would be much appreciated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Day Review This small shredder is good for an individual who wants to securely shred personal identifiable information, but not for severe duty. It will comfortably shred a couple of pages at a time if fed carefully, but don't feed it so that the paper folds over itself. It will handle as much as 6 sheets of regular-weight copier paper, but I wouldn't want to try 7. Time will tell for durability, but I'm happy to have it for now. I like the safety lock which is easy to understand for adults, but difficult for kids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shredder for light everyday use Good, solid shredder for light everyday usage. The bin is small enough to fit on a desk yet large enough to hold the shreds. Solid design and 3 years of warranty on the blades make it a great unit to have long-term; cross-cut feature is wonderful for security. Overall, a nice little machine that won't break the budget. Recommend!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Operation This paticular shredder is the first Fellowes piece of equipment that I have owned. I am truly impressed with the ease of operation and especially the safety features of this unit. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for a new shredder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Shredder We bought the P-35C as a replacement shredder. We should have done this much sooner. Powerful yet quieter then most shredders. Criss-cross-cuts everything into small pieces - even credit cards. Great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Home This shredder is perfect for home use. I had a large backlog of shredding before I bought it, and it handled the job well. I followed the instructions and shredded for 3 minutes which doesn't sound like much, but you can shred quite a bit in that amount of time. Then I'd let it rest, and every time I went by the desk I'd shred some more until I finished my backlog. The shredder doesn't take up a lot of room, so I can keep it handy on my desk. I also don't have to worry about removing staples. An excellent buy for the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Purchase The shredder I owned previous to this one was terrible and hardly lasted me anytime. I am much happier with this purchase and I didn't mind spending a little extra to have a better quality shredder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with Fellowes Shredder I did not think we needed a commercial Shedder, so I went with the PowerShred 79Ci. We are pleased with the way it is working for us. It seems to meet our needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worse shredder ever The P-35C is without doubt the worse shredder I've ever had. And I've had a few in my life. Problems: 1) It doesn't adequately shred credit cards) 2) it doesn't hold much (I know it's a small one), &3) you always have to pull strips of paper from the corners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice I've always trusted Fellows to bring me something I can trust. The crosscut is what I was looking for and it was at a great price!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not perfect Not effective on credit cards...they stay in one piece despite being shredded... Shredder runs too long after last sheet is shredded when it "clears" the cutters...I always think it's stuck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fellowes P-35C Shredder We have had this one for few years. Only on light duty. Kept lubricated. No heavy duty work like staples, credit cards, DVDs. It stopped feeding on "auto" but would still reverse. The "nylon" housing that holds the shredder blades has broken and is unrepairable. OK....it is a cheap shredder but for it to fail in the way is unacceptable in my view.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shredder The P-35C cross-cut shredder is the best shredder I have boaught so far. It is not quite a loud as the last one I had which is a huge plus. I also like that it doesn't stop immediately after the last page goes through, it keeps going for a couple of seconds, which helps the next paper catch. I also like the way it is setup for safety. I'm not too afraid that my 7 yr old will get her fingers in it (or me for that matter). Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS POWER SHREDDER I have just purchased a P 35C shredder based on its looks and proposed abilities, but I feel it may not be substantial enough for use. It also looks like I am not able to register this product as I am not in the USA or Canada but England, which is part of the United Kingdom, currently in Europe, before it fails. I will give it a week and if it lasts that long maybe I was wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Shredder Ever WE had a smller shredder that shredded pretty well but kept getting jammed a lot and the time it took me to unjamb it and [ick out all the little pieces was quite a while and frustrationg. The Fellowes shredder does better, more compact shredding and has a bigger waste compartment. So far I am very happy I made this purchase just wish I had done so earlier

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with my choice Machine works very well with up to 3 sheets of paper at a time. I haven't had a problem with jamming because I don't let the basket get too full. Good value for the price, and we had previously wrecked (burned out) two shredders in a short period of time, where the Fellows is doing an excellent job. I feel good about recommending this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good purchase Works well for shredding a few pieces of junk mail a day. It clearly states in the instruction manual that this shredder is not designed to shred more than 2 minutes continuous or it will get hot and shut off. This is not the shredder for you if you have years of records to shred but it works well for its designed purpose of junk mail every day. Would recommend it for light use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Money Saver A terrific performing machine. Disposed of five (5) years of old tax and tax support documents over a weekend. Instruction manual was clear and precise. Some breaks to allow cooling but got the job done. When you calculate the cost of going to a professional shredding company this machine has almost paid for itself already.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from thoroughly disappointed Lasted less than five or fewer uses. Followed directions for use. Worst item I have ever purchased. Stopped working using five or fewer sheets to shred. Very disappointed in its performance. I cannot find my receipt or I would return it to the store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powershredder P-35C Bought one yesterday, Used it to filled-bin capacity three times. Now it only works in reverse. It's been oiled etc. and no more than 5 sheets have been shredded at once. Going back to shop tomorrow. Poor piece of kit. I cannot recommend it. Will attempt to change it for another make. Certainly very unhappy with Fellowes. As its an Australian product, perhaps in the UK I should try to use it upside down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fellowes the Best I recently purchase a Fellowes Powershred P-35C Shredder for my second home in Florida. The P-35C Shredder is smaller that my Fellowes-DM65C in Connecticut, but it works just as great as the Big One. When the name on the Shredder is Fellowes you know you have a well made product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great So Far Love the safety features and the auto-shutdown to make sure I don't burn out the motor. I would recommend this for anyone who needs to do periodic shredding of mail or personal papers, but not for mass usage. Since I had a lot to shred at first, it was slow going to keep it from overheating and it only can take 5 sheets at a time, but daily usage is a breeze. Tends to make a little mess when you take off the top to empty the bin, but not a ton. Definitely does what it says. I haven't had it long, but so far it's living up to expectations!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shredder I like this shredder, as it doesn't jam with proper use, and it contains a safety lock to prevent little ones from using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes and No I actually downsized my shredder and regret it. This one jams constantly, fortunately I found the safety switch which allows me to continue operating it even when it jams. For very light jobs this probably would work well, I do a lot of work that demands that my notes demand to shredded to a government level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from P-35C I purchased this shredder after having another shredder for many years. I wish I would have read the review before purchasing as it seems I am experiencing the same problem that others have experienced - the shredder will go in reverse (barely) but not forward. I did call the company and they seem nice enough and will follow up. Let's see what happens. I cannot recommend this product yet but may change my mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mediocre purchase I recently purchased this shredder to replace an old one that had failed. I bought this model because it had the highest shred piece ratio on display. The black basket makes it difficult to see how full the basket is. I had expected smaller pieces, considering it was a cross cut shredder, pieces are about 2-3". I would not purchase this model again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good shredder for limited office use This shredder is made for personal use and limited office use to destroy any kind of personally identifiable information or and other sensitive documents. This particular machine would be suitable for a house or home office where children are around because of the many safety features it has. Draw backs of this machine are the small volume of paper shredding it can handle and also the time constraint on continuous shredding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Music" to My Ears My new Fellowes shredder is a good quality product. The controls are easy to use, and it definitely has the look and feel of quality. It has a weight to it that will convince you it's not just cheap junk like so many others. It will shred about anything you throw at it: credit cards, staples, lots of old paperwork. It feels like it could act as a wood chipper if you asked it to. The only negative thing I have to say about this shredder is the amount of noise. It sounds something some sort of turbine sucking up a whole flock Canadian geese. So as long as you have a basement, or a seperate, sound insulated room to shred in, then this shredder is for you. Or else your neighbors may start asking questions about your abuse of water-fowl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Pleased with New Product For a little shredder that can fit in any home/pffice space, this product is perfect! It operates perfectly with little or no resistence.
