IP telephony, Wireless or Video-Surveillance deployments may require higher PoE+ density in wiring closets. This 24-port PoE+ platform is 802.3af full power – with supplemental 802.3at full power capacity – yet affordable when compared to typical competitive solutions with even less PoE budget. When associated to GSM7212F, PoE deployments can be much Smarter with the right number of PoE ports – whenever and wherever you want.

Rated out of 5 by from Great device for the price. We have not had any issues to date. It has alot of features but would like it to have a few more.
Date published: 2010-06-23
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pros: Good feature set, good priceCons: firmware is not updated very often, not nearly as reliable as CiscoComments: We have 17 of these in our wiring closets with cisco 3750Gs as a backbone. We have had to reboot these Netgears about every 2 months, and occasionally get some really weird MAC address table problems. Netgear doesn't seem to support the software development side very well, because there are several bugs that have been known for over 2 years and not addressed with firmware updates. they do have a lifetime warranty which is great, and when we have needed to replace one, the service was respectable. All in all these are not bad switches, but you get what you pay for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We've had one of these for about six months and recently installed another. It's stable and the web interface is easy to configure. It doesn't have all the features of a CIsco, but it doesn't have all the price tag either.
