Product Overview
Main Features
  • Wireless access point
  • 802.11a/b/g/n
  • Dual Band
The AP6532 Access Point links wireless 802.11a/b/g/n devices to the controller, enabling growth of your wireless network with a cost effective alternative to standard Access Points. The AP6532 Access Point provides two placement options: wall and ceiling. Wall mount slots fit onto two provided screws. Arrows on the case guide the placement of the screws. For placement above a suspended ceiling, a safety wire tie point on the case provides for a safety wire loop. The light pipe fits through a hole in the ceiling tile to provide a view of the unit's status lights.

Product Reviews
Motorola AP 6532 - wireless access point is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for hospitals as the main hospital is usually the hub of many smaller buildings and also the tallest building in the neighborhood. Valuable Features:Motorola has solid RF experience for longer than any other vendor.Improvements to My Organization:These are great for hospitals as the main hospital is usually the hub of many smaller buildings and also the tallest building in the neighborhood. This is an ideal scenario for P2P or PTMP wireless.Room for Improvement:The documentation is lacking and they need to work on it. Motorola seems to have less documentation than competitors and less of it readily available online .Use of Solution:I've used it for over 10 years, although the product has changed.Deployment Issues:We've had no issues with the deployment.Stability Issues:The reliability has to do with how often an RF link will go down, and this almost never happens in my experience with Motorola outdoor wireless.Scalability Issues:It's been able to scale for our needs.Customer Service:7/10Technical Support:9/10Previous Solutions:Yes, DragonWave, BridgeWave, Proxim, and CiscoInitial Setup:Fairly straightforwardDisclaimer: I am a real user, and this review is based on my own experience and opinions.
