The length of wires is great for a traditional desk. For a sit-stand setup that I have, the wires are not long enough to keep the bass unit/control center on the floor with my desktop and the bass unit was not designed aesthetically to sit on a desk.

I think I was sent a faulty connector wire because almost every other time I turn them on, there is an echo/distant distortion that comes from them. Othertimes they fire up and sound perfect. Could be a coin toss of a purchase, but they would be a 5 star if they didn't have that one issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good sound system These speakers are pretty nice, good range of frequency and look cool. They play sound out the back too, so it gives a deeper, more pure sound. The woofer is pretty sweet too, can rock the house pretty good. Only negative is that dust sticks to the outside of the two smaller speakers, but other than that i love the sound. They are also a bit expensive but i got them with a $100 gift card so its all good

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speakers I bought these speakers 2 weeks ago and the speakers are great quality and fit perfectly on my desk and it was a easy setup once everything was configured onto my desktop and I would like to say the setup for these speakers were very easy and a very fast setup after taken out the box and the sound quality is very great and the sub woofer with these speakers as well is a great add to it definitely will consider buying another brand like Logitech in the future from Dell because of the free shipping

Great sound quality and adjustable bass, will keep you banging to your favorite tunes or taking out the baddies in your games. Sound clarity is good, even at high volume levels. Rated 5 out of 5 by from not the best i bought these speakers a month ago and it reached on time. intially when I plugged in the speakers, they were good but when i increased the volume a bit, the sound got tinny, and even when i stop using the speakers, i can hear the hissing sound. Overall I found the speakers not worth the price i 've spent

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely Bottom Heavy Speakers look good, very bottom heavy. If you are looking for some speakers that cover the low range, these are for you. They are more than adequate to handle some finer classical and jazz pieces, but if you really want to let it go with some bass heavy vibe, I would definitely recommend these. It is odd to have speakers on the back of the little towers, and then on the bottom of the bass module. Odd, but seems to do the trick..

I use this speaker set for both desktop computer listening (to streaming SIRIUS radio, for example, with the 3.5mm mini-phone plug) and also, using one of the auxiliary inputs, for my electronic keyboard sound amplification. The adjustable bass is impressive, and the amplification is beyond what I have come to expect from computer speaker systems.

After putting up with their constant buzzing for a few months, I used a gift certificate to get this guys. The Bad: * I wish ANY speakers had the option to leave headphones plugged into the speakers, but bypass the port. That way I wouldn't have to unplug the headphones to hear the speakers. * These take up more deskspace than I'd like. The Good: * Good sound quality. No, these aren't reference quality, but they're fine for obnoxious punk music and video games. * Adjustable subwoofer. Don't underestimate this feature. My office is boom-y, so the ability to dial down the bass is needed. * Shielded. No more annoying buzzing coming from the speakers.

Now it's not only loud, but his room is rumbling! He loves it and I like to make him happy. I'm still complaining about the noise, but the speakers definately do their job.

The room I use isn't huge so I barely need to turn them up to get quality sound. Wireless speakers were out of stock which were initial choice but I dont regret the picking these.

The only thing I miss is a remote on/off/volume control like I have on a Logitech system on my other computer. Nice fidelity at a nice price. I would recommend it.

Dell computers have a horrible sound program that you are required to use. What a mess, if you do sound work make sure you read the reviews and issues with dell computers and speakers. I am forced to do all my audio from usb headphones.

They definitely can produce plenty of volume, and while not the best quality you've ever heard, are good enough. At the time I bought them, these were the same price as a dinky soundbar for your monitor. While these take more desk space, I'm sure they deliver better sound.
