Product Reviews
Lenovo - power adapter - 65 Watt is rated 2.1 out of 5 by 76.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too short, too clunky This is a terrible charger. It does the job and charges quickly, but the prongs are placed so that it takes up the room of both outlets, and the it's so awkwardly balanced that it often falls out while charging. Not to mention the actual cord is far too short to be of much use at all

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This charger is HUGGGEEEE SLIM CHARGER MY FOOT! NOT SLIM AT ALL! AND LENOVO MAKES THIS CHARGER proprietary so basically you cant use any other USB or replace the usb cord or the box with something different. And this thing is a beast and takes up 1.5 outlets! The worst thing I have ever seen. Its like old technology in a new unit. This product is no way slim. Its the biggest adaptor I have ever seen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken in 8 months. Stopped working in 8 months :(Friction between plugs and adapter cut them and they no longer connected to metal plates underneath.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely worthless!!...completely rubbish I recently got an new replacement adapter from Lenovo. But this thing is so hopelessly designed that no thought was given into it whether it will function or not. Lenovo didn't care whether it fits in any power socket, they just copied a Mac book power adapter. Also no other regular wired replacement adapter works with the Yoga 900. My laptop has become a brick, all thanks to lenovo design department. Pls @lenovoUS replace this product or discontinue the laptop.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from usb is supposed to be "universal" Unlike many of the reviewers, I haven't encountered the blocked outlet problem (yet) with this charger (included with my Yoga 700, 11.6 inch). For one thing, the adapter plug prongs are both the same size (instead of one prong wider than the other), so the adapter can be flipped upside down when used with a wall socket, or used at the end of a power strip and still not block an adjacent outlet. Also, I have a charging stand with a rotatable socket, so I can angle the adapter and not block an adjacent socket. Of course, a short extension cord can work as well. What does concern me about this USB charger is that the user can ONLY use this adapter and cord combination to charge the computer. With phones and tablets that have micro-USB charging ports, owners can use any micro USB cable or charger to charge their devices. With this Yoga, I find I can't use any USB cable or even any USB charger. I tried connecting the Lenovo cable to a standard USB charging port, and the computer would not charge. I also tried connecting a standard USB A male-to-male cable to the Lenovo adapter and to the charging port on the Yoga, and again the computer does not charge. Lenovo, if you are reading this: Why not allow the charging port on the computer accept standard USB cables for charging? Also, why not let the charging adapter work with standard USB cables? Thirdly, why not let the Lenovo cable work with standard USB charging ports? (Letting the cable work with standard USB charging ports would also eliminate the problem of the bulky adapter that other users are complaining about.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Power Cord This power cord is the worst design I have ever encountered. It is too big, therefore takes up multiple outlets. It is also too heavy so does not stay in a wall outlet. It falls out under its own weight. Very inconvenient and useless as a travel charger since it does not even work properly at home. Whoever the designer of this was, obviously never tried it in a real environment. The flaws on it are obvious the first time you plug it in. It is also not reliable because when you think your computer is charging, it is not, since the power cord has fallen loose from the socket on the wall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bulky and takes up two outlets Hate this charger. It's bulky and takes up two outlets.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expect from Lenovo The PS Died. I have been using and supporting Lenovo products for as long as Lenovo has owned the Think Pad line. While I understand that these are premium computers. I find that the weak link with the Yoga 700 is the PS.
