I plugged it in and I was immediately happy with the sound! they were wonderful, blocked out all sorts of noise from around me, I was fully immursed in my games, the booms and bangs were great with good lows and highs, they really sounded good! then I tried to talk with a friend... and I tried and I tried. I changed settings in discord, I tried in game, I checked everything in windows and nothing made it work. I was drowned out by static and sounded far away sounding. The retracting mic I really liked, but with the mic not working very well it makes it hard to recommend... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 bylogun8or from terrilble microphoneI bought this yesterday and my mic is terrrible i try talking to my freinds on skype with the headphones and i have to bend the mic so it is practically in my mouth then they can barely hear me. i am a gamer that plays multiplayer fps so it is inportant for me to be able to talk to my teammates so i have a very bad a experience with this headset I would only recommend it if you just want to listen and not talk the only thing that's actually wrong with it is that the microphone does not work otherwise it is perfect

Rated 5 out of 5 byPughpunk from This mic beats anything else under 100$While some aspects of any headset are really dependent on the person, such as comfort and their desired sound range, I have only one (almost) issue with this headset. That is the microphone is on the left side(my dominant eye, often slightly in the field of view). However, the sound is amazing, and the mic is clear. I find this headset comfortable and the over-the-ear design makes this comfortable enough to wear all day for those extended gaming sessions, or music, or both.

I love Lenovo, and since I own a Lenovo laptop computer I decided to try this headset. The sound is crip and clear with just the right amount of bass, and the retractable microphone is a great feature. For the price you can’t go wrong!

Now, I got mine on sale, but even at the regular price, I think these are a decent deal. The sound is very nice, and can be refined a little by the settings on my Lenovo Legion desktop. One thing to note, the aesthetic of this headset is designed to match the previous generation of Lenovo Legion PC's, not the recently announced ones.
