The Lenovo ThinkPad Battery 68+ is compatible with W550, T440, T440s, L450, T450s, T450, T550, X250 and X240 systems. This 6 cell battery utilises Lithium-Ion technology and allows you to stay unplugged longer, providing the longest possible battery life. The battery can provide power for approximately 72 watt hours and is rechargeable. A safe flow of power is ensured by the over-discharge protection, which prevents damage due to incorrect voltage. Long battery life, limited life expectancy
I purchased this as a replacement for the battery I had that was about 4 years old. The new battery is awesome, super long life between charges even when using speakers and running multiple memory-heavy programs. The old battery was down to about ~1/2 an hour's use before needing to be recharged. So, I'm giving 4 stars here rather than 5 because that's how many years the battery lasted for me!

Defintiely not extended life
The battery only last a total of 3 hours before it either drains or has 2% left before it drains completely. Description stated 8 hours but doesn't even make it half way to that point.

Extends the life of my laptop significantly
I've only had this battery for a few weeks, but as a grad student I enjoy being able to use my laptop all day without a charge (a full charge lasts about 10-12 hours of studying/typing/reading/browsing on low- to mid-level brightness for my T450S). The bump out takes some getting used to and the weight of the increased size isn't too significant considering the lifespan of a single charge. Delivery took a bit longer than expected, but if this charge continues to hold, definitely worth the wait!

Exceptional battery life.
The battery life has been exceptional. I have had this battery about a month and I easily get 6-9 hours out of a single charge.

Reviews of Lenovo show that the battery lasts up to 17 hours. I bought a replacement because my new battery lasted about an hour. The replacement indicates 3 hours when full and unplugged. The laptop runs hot when plugged in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

All day or more battery life
I run both Linux and Windows and battery performs well in each OS, and does better than I expected - of course, it is still new. Seems like it if it is idle for while, it holds charge best at 50-60%. Thickness bump is more than expected, but extra life worth it.

Performs as expected
This battery performs as expected, albeit not as hoped. It is an exact replacement of the original battery that came with the laptop. Battery lasts about 5 to 6 hours instead of the 9 to 12 hours the computer (ThinkPad T470p) promised. Since it was on sale, I bought two and will switch them out as needed.
