The ThinkPad Compact Keyboard is a legendary, award-winning, full size slim keyboard in a Bluetooth version. To provide a seamless user experience, this Island style keyboard is mirroring the same design, functions and technical specifications of the keyboard currently on Thinkpad notebook systems. In addition the ThinkPad Compact keyboard incorporates scissor lift key mechanism to ensure great ergonomics and comfort. Larger keys as well as more space between keys help maximize preciseness for a higher quality all day typing experience. Additionally, the ThinkPad Compact keyboard features a simplified pairing with the system through Near Field Communication (NFC) tag. Simply tap and pair with an NFC-enabled system. No more changing batteries inside the keyboard - the ThinkPad Compact keyboard features an integrated battery with over one month battery life and simple micro USB charging. It is the ideal solution to amplify any ThinkPad.

Product Reviews
Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 33reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works fine, but could be better Good: Works just fine and can enjoy the nice feeling of ThinkPad keyboard and track point with other devices.Bad: This keyboard remembers only one paring information. So, if you pair this keyboard with DeviceA followed by paring with DeviceB, paring information with DeviceA is lost. If you want to re-connect to DeviceA, you need to go through the pairing process again. This is not practical if you want to use this keyboard with multiple devices (such as tablet, PC, smartphone, etc.). I hope future version will remember multiple paring information and let user switch between them (like some of the Logitech products do). September 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Aaaahhhh. The Trackpoint I Know And Love I haven't had a Trackpoint keyboard for years, it's so good to be back. My wrists and fingers thank you! I wish there was a model a little bigger than this, but smaller than the one with a TrackPad. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] September 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Type better than the thin P40 If you also use it with an ipad pro, it should turn to the Windows mode to use the shortcut. And the experts should test it more, the IOS mode only appropriate for the iPhone, not for the iPad. August 16, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Keyboard does not working on Ubuntu Linux System This Bluetooth keyboard totally not working on Ubuntu Linux. Bluetooth connection always disconnected and never function on OS startup.OS: ubuntu 16.04.1Kernel: 4.4.0-34 August 15, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Keys keep falling off.... I bought this keyboard to use when travelling with tablet. I love thinkpad keyboards and refuse to use scratchpad stuff. As such, it works fine with modern android devices. However, for travelling it cannot be recommended.Once in the bag and the O-key fell out. Tried to put back but it has 3 very tiny plastic components that you need to fit exactly right while you can't look. Took me an hour of frustration. Second time I travelled, 6 keys fell out, now I'm missing several inner parts and 1 key! :-(Very sad about the quality. This doesn't happen with real keyboards? How can buttons fall out? It's the chicklet plastic problem. I'd like the old design back. This one is now useless for me.Maybe some tablet thinkpad bluetooth keyboard will be better in the future, but this was very sad. Rated 1 out of 5 by Bluetooth connection is poor The bluetooth keyboard disconnects 4 to 5 times on average over an 8 hour period. This is the second keyboard they have sent me. Also, the trackpoint works poorly with the cursor going off in directions not reflective of the direction I provided. May 11, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not sensitive enough for me and no way to change A Lenovo salesperson told me this Bluetooth version would be compatible with my Twist. When surfing the web, I have to click sometimes two or three times, harder and harder each time. When I called Tech Support to find out how to make it more sensitive to the touch, they told me that it isn't compatible with my model (3347). I love it for typing, and love having an external keyboard with a trackpoint, but hate having to pound the left key to select. April 11, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good portable keyboard but not perfect I love the keyboard's form factor - light and compact. I am using the keyboard in the office for testing reasons since about two months. Overall I very much like it and would consider buying it for me personally if there were a wireless version (with a USB dongle). This bluetooth version I'm testing has sometimes delays concerning the input and it can't be switched quickly from one (Windows) computer to another but instead has to be (re-)paired to the other computer which is a nuisance if you want to use it with more than one device. Additionally, there seems to be the possibility for connection problems when another bluetooth device is connected to the same computer after the keyboard had been paired already (this only happened once, yet). The battery lasts as promised at least one month (when used during regular working hours). On a Windows 7 computer I had a "Bluetooth" tab in the keyboard settings of the control panel showing the remaining battery power. However, in Windows 10 that tab doesn't appear (latest driver installed), which is a strong disadvantage. The USB version on the other hand I wouldn't want to buy because of the cable. It wouldn't practical enough for the use with my tablet, f. ex. in the train. April 11, 2016
