Issues with 2 computer setupI like everything about it and it would get all 5 stars if I didn't have problems setting it up to use one keyboard and mouse for a PC and Apple computer. This feature would be WONDERFUL if it worked right. I am hopeful they will fix the bugs in software updates. It sometimes doesn't connect and you have to fiddle with it and I can't double click on the Apple computer. Otherwise it works great.

That included trying a number of different panels, from TN to IPS and VA.My Perfect World scenario had me combining my productivity and gaming monitor into a single monitor. Unfortunately, I discovered (via more than one monitor) that curved displays actually cause me to get nauseous after a short while.It didn't matter how shallow the curve or wide the monitor; I got nauseous eventually.So, I gave up on ultrawides for a bit.Then, I decided to try an alternative approach: Use one monitor for fast paced gaming, and one for productivity and slower games. I first set out to find flat panel ultrawides with G-Sync to pair with my 1080 Ti GPU. That didn't happen.So, I searched for a while and found the LG 34UM88-P and Samsung SJ55W. The LG is IPS, and the Samsung is VA. Honestly, I don't have a strong preference for one over the other. The slightly better colors and viewing angles are nice on IPS, the deeper blacks are nice on VA. Since I wasn't worried about fast-paced gaming on them, I didn't care about VA bleeding black in fast scenes.I dug into reviews and specs and found this LG 34UB88-P. It's the business version of the 34UM88-P and has a 3 year warranty instead of 1 year.Note that I also looked at 29" ultrawides, but I wanted to keep a comparable resolution to my gaming monitor (Dell S2616DG, which is a 27" 1440p TN panel), so I limited most of my serious searching to 34" 3440 x 1440p monitors.Ultimately the 3 year warranty, slightly better colors, and availability at a good price at CDW pushed me over the edge in favor of the LG. This monitor is beautiful. Out of the box, it's already excellent. I found its green to be a little higher than it needed to be, and the brightness was way too high (same with every monitor ever).I ended up knocking the Black Stabilizer in Game Adjust to 0 (this should be the default) and calibrated the monitor with my X-Rite i1DisplayPro. It looks gorgeous and is perfect for my needs.One minor gripe is that if you use the hardware calibration, it greys out some settings like Black Stabilizer, and I can't tell if they're permanently at 50 or permanently disabled. As such, I ended up calibrating a second time just using the Custom color profile and DisplayCAL software. This kept all of the options available to me without having to worry if something wasn't optimized.Highly recommended. This should be far more popular than it is. People are obsessed with curved monitors and regurgitate a lot of misinformation about the benefits of a curved vs. flat display (e.g. that flat monitors warp visuals at the edges of your vision--this is simply untrue. It's people trying to convince themselves that curved monitors don't causing visual warping).
